Are you a female musician? Did you attend a New York City college or university? Your chance to perform in front of a massive crowd is here! The Barnard College and Summer on the Hudson is gearing up for their fourth annual concert. The free event celebrates women and music. All of the artists featured are current or former students of NYC colleges. This casting call for musicians is giving you the chance of a lifetime!  Individuals as well as groups who have at least one woman are welcome to apply.  The event will be at NYC Parks and Riverside Park Conservancy.  Auditions are being held on Tuesday, March 20th or Wednesday, March 28th, 2018.  All of the musician audition information is below!

This Spring, Barnard College and Summer on the Hudson (NYC Parks & Riverside Park Conservancy) present the fourth annual free concert celebrating women and music – an evening featuring unforgettable performances by students and alumni musicians from New York City colleges and universities.

To apply email soh@riversideparknyc.org by Sunday 03/11. Include all of the following information:
A description of the group/music
(must be at least one woman in the group)
College or university affiliation
(must be a current student or alumni of NYC college)
Include a link to music and/or video samples and current contact information (email & phone number)
We will notify those groups selected for a live audition by Monday 03/12
Selected groups/individuals will attend a live audition on either: Tuesday 03/20 or Wednesday 03/28
Those awarded the gig will be notified by Friday 04/06. A small honorarium will be provided
