If you are trying to get your child started in acting, it can seem overwhelming. A wonderful way to begin is by landing your child an extra role. Having the opportunity to work on the set of a major movie or television show is priceless. A 2017 kids casting call for the award winning series “Homeland” is here! Season 7 of the Showtime hit is now filming and there is an opportunity for child actors to shoot for several days. Casting directors are looking for a Caucasian boy or girl who is six years old. Because it shoots in Richmond, Virginia kids must be local to be considered. Both non-union and SAG-AFTRA members are welcome to apply.

According to Showtime, “Homeland is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is tops in her field despite being bipolar, which makes her volatile and unpredictable. With the help of her long-time mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), Carrie fearlessly risks everything, including her personal well-being and even sanity, at every turn. You won’t be able to turn away from this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake”.

Filming will be on Wednesday, October 25th, Thursday, October 26th, Friday, October 27th and Monday, October 30th. Your child must be available all day for all of the shoot dates to submit.
