The Netflix series “Longmire” is now filming its fifth season and casting directors are looking for a man for an upcoming featured role in the series. Longmire formally aired on A&E and was cancelled after its fourth season was picked up by Netflix so fans will get to see the series go on. Longmire is currently filming in New Mexico.
Longmire is a contemporary crime thriller set in Wyoming. The show will be adapted from the best selling Walt Longmire novel series by award winning author Craig Johnson. Walt Longmire is the recently widowed sheriff of Wyoming’s Absaroka County who must turn his life around in the face of great sadness for the sake of his daughter, his career and the people that he protects. The series will star the immense talent of Robert Taylor (The Matrix, The Hard Word) as Longmire, Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) as his newly hired deputy, Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba) as his loyal best friend and Bailey chase (Saving Grace) as Longmire’s main adversary.
Casting directors from Robert Baxter Casting are now looking for a tall, tough looking Native American man for an upcoming featured role in the show. They need a male who is six foot or taller and huge. Native American men who have traditional long hair is a plus. The casting team needs men who are new faces and have never worked on Longmire before.
