There is a casting call in 2018 for kids and teens! The New Year is looking to be a great one in the entertainment industry. If you have a child who is looking to get started in acting, landing an extra acting job is the perfect way to start. The NBC TV show “Chicago PD” has put out a kids casting call. African American and Hispanic males who are talented athletes are needed for some upcoming scenes. Producers are looking for boys who are 10 through 17 years old. All kids must have advanced level basketball skills and be on track to go pro! This is a fantastic role for any aspiring actor.

At the center of “Chicago P.D.” is Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), who is at ground zero against the war on crime in Chicago. He will do anything to bring criminals to justice. From multiple Emmy Award-winning Executive Producer Dick Wolf and the teams behind the hit series “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit, combating the city’s most heinous offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond”, according to NBC.

Those chosen will be featured and will receive $200.00 for the shoot. A wardrobe fitting will also take place sometime before filming. The shoot will take place on Friday, January 5th in Chicago, Illinois. If this sounds like a project your son would be perfect for, check out the info below!

Hey parents of talented athletes! Get those work permits ready!

“BALLERZ”– Seeking African American and Hispanic/latino MALES, ages 10-17 with EXCELLENT basketball skills to play featured young basketball players who are on track to go pro. MUST have actual advanced level basketball skills.

(Please include a short video clip showcasing some skills in your submission) AAU team members strongly encouraged to submit.

All children under the again of 16 must have a valid Minor Work Permit through Empire Casting Company or major talent agency/management company ( i.e. Shirley Hamilton, Stewart Talent, Gray Talent, etc.) There will be a wardrobe fitting prior to the film date.

(NOTE :These scenes will shoot during the day, so please keep in mind that your child will need to miss a day of school. However, a teacher and on-set schooling will be provided by production.\

Film Date: FRIDAY 1/5
Pay Rate: $200/8 + $25 Wardrobe Fitting
