Amazon has been keeping up with streaming network giants Netflix and Hulu with their original series. Their popular Stephen King series “Mr. Mercedes” is now filming season 2. Casting directors are in need of two actors to portray police officers. This is a great way to see what it is like to work on the set of a major television show. This is a paid acting job. Because of the nature of the role, actors must not have any visible tattoos in short sleeve shirts. Filming will be in Charleston, South Carolina. It will shoot on Tuesday, May 29th.

Stephen King describes the series, which is based on his best-selling novel of the same name, as taking place “in the frigid pre-dawn hours, in a distressed Midwestern city, hundreds of desperate unemployed folks are lined up for a spot at a job fair. Without warning, a lone driver plows through the crowd in a stolen Mercedes, running over the innocent, backing up, and charging again. Eight people are killed; fifteen are wounded. The killer escapes. Mr. Mercedes is a war between good and evil, from the master of suspense whose insight into the mind of this obsessed, insane killer is chilling and unforgettable”.
