Chuck Lorre, TV’s “man of the moment” with the mega hit series The Big Bang Theory, Two And A Half Men and Mike & Molly currently on the air, has added another jewel to his sitcom crown with the runaway success, Mom. Casting calls for a number of fantastic roles are happening now and performers of all ages can submit themselves today for audition consideration for one of the hottest comedy series on television.
Mom stars the queen of screen comedy, Anna Faris (Scary Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Waiting…) as Christy, a single working mother of two kids. Christy’s uphill battle to keep her head above water as a struggling waitress and recovering alcoholic while trying to raise her family becomes infinately (and hilariously) more difficult when her delinquent mother (herself in recovery) reemerges in her life. This outstanding series delights millions of viewers each week and has quickly become a high water mark for primetime network comedy.
