A new BET casting call for their hit show “Being Mary Jane” is now seeking actors for a featured role. The television show that stars Gabrielle Union wants you to be on this fun series! Casting directors are searching for a Caucasian female who has very short hair for the specialty extra role of Silvia. Because this is a featured role anyone who applies for a role must have acting experience. Selected actors will be paid $150.00 for 8 hours of filming per day. Shooting will be for 3 to 4 days between December 1st and December 19th. The series films in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Being Mary Jane” is from the producers of the award-winning BET comedy “The Game” and the romantic comedy “Jumping the Broom”. BET describes the series as following Mary Jane Paul, who is a one-woman show: a successful TV news anchor, entirely self-sufficient – an all-around powerhouse who remains devoted to a family that doesn’t share her motivation. As Mary Jane juggles her life, her work and her commitment to her family, we find out how far she’s willing to go to find the puzzle pieces that she, and society, insist are missing from her life as a single Black female. As Mary Jane juggles life, work and commitments to family, how far is she willing to go to find the missing pieces from her life as a single Black female?

For the TV series “Being Mary Jane” Season 4, we are currently casting a Caucasian female with very short hair for
the specialty extra role of “Silvia.”

Silvia – Caucasian female, ages 20 to 30

Must have very short hair

Must have acting experience

Extras Pay Rate: $150.00 for 8 hours

Filming in Atlanta, Georgia

This role will be filming for three to four days between December 1st and December 19th.
