The History Channel is coming out with a new series that will tell a story of Seal Team Six. According to Deadline, Six will follow a Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists. Stemming from an idea by Harvey Weinstein, the drama is inspired by real missions, capturing SEALs’ complex personal lives and the life-and-death decisions they make, with each season set in a different location, starting with Africa. The series is written by by Oscar-nominated screenwriter and Vietnam veteran William Broyles (Castaway, Jarhead) and his son David Broyles, a military special operations veteran. . The series is filming in Wilmington, North Carolina. The casting team is looking for men to shoot on Monday, June 6th.
Casting directors are looking for men to play “Michael’s Men” who are Chechen Fighters. The looking they are going for is Navy Seal types, but with those who have an olive complexion. They are looking for men who are between the ages of 18 and 40 years old. Guys who have facial hair are fine. They would like men with dark brown or black hair and who are physically fit. Background actors who would like to be in the show must be local, or able to work as local to Wilmington, North Carolina. The pay rate for the selected actors is $64.00 for 8 hours with time and a half after 8 hours. Since these roles will film on Monday, June 6th so actors who apply must be available for the shoot date.
