Do you love Game of Thrones? While we have to wait another year to see what the new season will bring, you can apply to a casting call for another popular HBO show! The Deuce is now filming season 2 and casting directors are looking for extras. Being a background actor is a fantastic opportunity to make some money, gain some on set experience and work with a professional crew. The 2018 HBO audition notice is looking for models and actors to portray 1970’s seedy types. Men and women ages 18 through 65 years old are welcome to apply. Filming will be in the New York City area on Thursday, May 10th. A wardrobe fitting will be taking place this week prior to the shoot.

According to Deadline, the HBO series “The Deuce” follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic, and the renewed real estate market ended the bawdy turbulence. Because the series takes place in the 1970’s, anyone who applies must have hairstyles that are appropriate for the decade and no visible tattoos. Those chosen to be a part of the scene will receive $143.00 for 10 hours. Anyone interested can view the HBO casting call below!

GWC is seeking NON-UNION to portray 1970s Seedy Types (Men and Women, ages 18-65) on the HBO series The Deuce!

Works Thursday 5/10 in the NYC area. Exterior work.
Costume fitting Monday 5/7, Tuesday 5/8, or Wednesday 5/9 in Queens prior to work date.

-NO visible tattoos
-Must have 1970s appropriate hair
-Must be over 18 years of age
-Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke
