  2. Hicks is the name; don't wear it out. In my opinion you couldn't pick a better contestant than myself. Sure the journey will be fun, but select me and the episode will be unforgettable. I'm fearless, willing to take risks, and I WILL win without any doubt. Oh ya, devilishly handsome. Remember: you heard it here first.

*WARNING* Engaging and irresistible Television to follow, if selected. It's time to give America something great again!

  7. I am a 25 year old single mother and live in upstate new York. I have experienced many obstacles in the past year and have overcame them all. I went through police training and graduated from my academy in the fall of 2015 and then immediately lost my mother to stage four cancer three months after starting my position at my department. I continued to push everyday and after losing her I realized how short life is and that I want to experience as much as possible in my life and to live my dream. That dream is becoming a personal trainer, fitness professional and motivational coach to show everyone that your power Is in your mind and once you conquer that, you are unstoppable. My mental and physical drive are relentless, I am extremely fit and adventurous, I will stop at nothing to win and have a huge heart. Losing is not an option for me. I would love this opportunity to show the world that hard work and persistence pays off and you can do anything you set your mind to.

  8. I have been following Bear for years. I'm a 32 yo female who has lived in a remote area for over ten years surviving without electricity water and toilet facilities. I love hiking, swimming and the outdoors. I'm totally ready and think I have what it takes to survive.

  9. I feel like Im always waiting for my life to begin. I love fitness and hiking but there is always a but. I'm asthmatic and it keeps me back. I want to know I can conquer even with the disease.

  10. This would be an awesome opportunity for man versus self to see if the mind and body are as one would like to think they are, tough resilient, mentally stoic and up for anything and able to overcome ageing

  11. Hello,

I am an 18 year old female and love the outdoors.
I grew up in a family of eleven kids, all who were homeschooled.
I am an equestrian competitor and trainer.
I've trained in multiple sports and love a good challenge.
I believe I would bring forth a unique dynamic to the show with my background and competitive personality.
    Thank you for the consideration.

  12. It would be great to be a part of "Get Out Alive"! I love and enjoy challenging outdoor activities and would love the opportunity to challenge myself in the various ways that I have seen in previous shows.
Besides the physical challenges, I would like to try the mental challenges. The journey is about, for some people, discovering inner truths, new truths, inner strengths and discovering more than a person can imagine. I'm ready!

  13. 52 year old disabled veteran. I've got nothing to prove to anyone. I am 6' 200lbs of capable.

  14. Bear,

I have a positive outlook and this would mean more to me than I can write here…
    Thank you!
    Hope to hear from you!!

  17. At age six, I was diagnosed with Leukemia blood cancer, and for two years I received treatment while I fought this illness. Though I went through my remission ten years ago, many side effects of the therapy lingered into my young adult life. The most prominent of these was the fact that I spent much of my childhood severely overweight and out of shape. For a long time, my physical condition was a major concern and, try as I might, I could not get motivated to lose the weight. At the start of high school, I began watching the show Man vs. Wild. Watching this show helped me find an appreciation for nature and the outdoors. With my newfound love of nature, I began to spend more time outside and more time being active. By my second year in high school, I had lost weight and become much more physically fit. Today I am experienced in many different forms of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, climbing, and cycling. Bear Grylls is one of my biggest heroes as well as a source of inspiration for me. It would be an honor if I got the opportunity to try and get out alive on this show.

  18. I'm jarryd, I have 22 years of age and this would be amazing if I could go on this show to just show a normal average joe can do anything they set their minds to, instead of relying on phones, technology and simple things we take for granted to day

  20. I have survived since I was alone and homeless at 14. A middle school drop out, I now have a college degree in Finance and regulate banks for a living. I do some backpacking, although, I don't consider myself a survivalist. I would love to visually teach my children the value in meeting a challenge head-on and not giving up. I'm an avid watcher of all survival shows on television and believe that the "surviving" I had to do as a homeless teen is far superior a challenge, but I'd also love to be proven incorrect. I'd love the opportunity to answer any questions you may have, and give you further insight as to why I believe I'd be the best fit for your show.

  21. love man vs wild would like to see if I have what it takes to survive in the wild love the outdoors camping hunting fishing I'm nothing more than an average man but would like the chance to do something extraordinary with my life

  22. I love everything Bear does. I am a Army veteran of Afghanistan and have a little girl who thinks I can do anything. I want to show her I can. I am certified in underwater construction, an avid fisherman and athlete. I welcome challenge, love adventure and I am ready to go!

  23. I'm almost 50 and in fair condition. I grew up in Montana and hunting, fishing, and sports were a big part of my life. Love the outdoors and have dreamed about surviving with little. Would love this opportunity.

  24. I love the Bear Grylls shows on television. He is an inspiration. I love bush walking, study botany, have previous experience in abseiling, caving, high school military cadets and believe in the beauty and majesty of nature.
I am an artist, musician, comedian and author. I am extremely fit and always looking for a challenge to push myself to the limits both mentally, physically and spirituality. I am currently making my own youtube botany and adventure videos.
I believe that we all have an ego for a reason but that it is truly best to push those limits of better insight for a more realistic approach to God in life!

  25. To test my courage, mental strength and push myself to the limit, the chance of a life time that only a lucky few
will get the opportunity to take part in. Bring on the challenge of a life time 🙂

  26. My brother and I wanna do this thing. We’ll be entertaining if nothing else. We are both outdoorsmen and enjoy a good challenge. We are adaptive, we work together as a team with flawless precision, we are athletic, we have uncannily good looks, big feet, we can tie a bunch of useless knots (thank you boy scouts – Oh yeah, we both earned the eagle scout award, nbd), and we’re pretty daring. You’ll be happy if you make the right choice and choose us. And you’ll be sad if you don’t.

  27. Well where to start I am one of bear grylls biggest fans.Me and my friend are all about the outdoors and there's no obstacle out there that we wouldn't give a go.
I am wanting to have a career that consists of the outdoors and I think this would be a great opportunity to build my character and gain more experience.
I want to channel my determination and strive to be the best I can be and therefore taking me out of the UK and putting me in a completely different environment will help me to succeed in life.
So this would be a great adventure and one of which I would love to be part of.

  28. I'm 40 married with 3 kids. I lived in a rural area till I was 18 years old, I always keep my kids entertain with stories of how challenging was life all that time. From walking 4 1/2 miles to go to school, getting water from the nearest well 5 miles away and how hard was to achive anything. And now wen we watch survival television I'm always thinking to my self; I can do that, it wil be a great opportunity to test myself and see what does it takes to get out alive.

  29. Nobody does it better than bear grylls. I'm always watching and telling my kids I could do this, I love the out doors and hiking I could do all day. This is one thing my wife and I could kick some butt in. Show our kids who's the bomb, mom and dad right. Help us prove them wrong. They think just because we're older 47, 46 we can't compete. We will show them what 110% means bring it on bear.

  30. I grew up as an adventurer enthusiast, having big dreams to experience the wilderness. I lived in a rural area and was always intrigued by the great outdoors. Needless to say i was never that kid who played video games all day, but the one who came back home covered in dirt, sweat and sometimes blood. Before i knew it, i accepted a position at a large insurance agency. A couple of years later, now at the age of 24, I never really experienced the excitement I was looking for. My younger years flew by, filled with sports, school, work, and girlfriends. I would mean the world to me to take this adventure, especially with one of the world renown survivalist. If you're interested to hear more about myself, please contact me.

  31. 34 year old male, who's 2 nephews love me like no other… But they like Grylls more than I. It would escalate my status with them. I grew up in Boyscouts, enjoy the our doors, willing to face this challenge to impress my nephews, and hopefully myself.

  32. Hello all,

I am a 31-year-old New Orleans native and grad student. I have been in the navy reserves now for eight years and seven months, now serving as an E6. I am a triathlete and marathoner with an avid love for the outdoors and survival methodologies.

During Hurricane Katrina in 2005, I worked tirelessly with the staff at Xavier University of Louisiana to maintain order and morale while attending to the needs of approximately 150 students/staff/family who were stranded. Seeing the lack of clear leadership around me, I volunteered to coordinate and transport food through floodwaters to remote campus locations. As external rescue efforts solidified, I again took the helm of a team that constructed a makeshift landing-pad on the roof of the University's Administration Building in order to facilitate two successful helicopter evacuation efforts. The weeks following Hurricane Katrina were a defining period in my life in which I felt a strong pull to elevate my leadership potential in the United States Navy.
In my attempt to advance my naval career I have applied to Officer Candidate School to switch from the navy enlisted ranks to the officer ranks in order to endure more challenges and more responsibilities. The career path I chose to pursue as an officer applicant is that of a Navy SEAL. As a result of this career choice I recently just completed the Navy SEAL officer assessment, which was extremely rigorous program that I could easily label as the hardest thing I have ever done in my life to date.

After completing that assessment and now just awaiting results from the selection board I find myself looking for all arduous tasks that to some may seem impossible, or just plain hard. I have always sought out adventures and evolutions that would challenge me to my very core, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am confident that I (and any team I formulate) can complete this adventure not only as a finisher but also as the season winner. (Additions: I was an active Patrol Leader as a Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America; I am American red Cross CPR certified; I have completed the Special Operations Academy: SEAL Adventure Challenge as a boat crew leader and class leader).

  33. Hi me and my best friend Tina love the outdoors and are great bear fans , we both love a challenge and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro last year with great success, we are mentally fit and physically love a challenge and would love to be on the next show

  34. When I first saw Bear on TV I was intrigued with him, but little did I know that I would study every show he was in to learn everything I could to be like him, so to adapt and over come. I felt a sense of meaning to something in my life, I want people to see that they can depend on me like I did on Bears shows time and time again. But In this study I learned something new every show and soaked it up like a sponge. Because I feel that one day I'll need this knowledge. And the thing is am not a soldier I am not naturalist, I am just a 24 year old male living in Indiana, And most of all I want to see if learning off a TV screen is possible to survive and thrive out doors without practice. And maybe feel apart of something bigger then myself. Because felt the people's emotions last season. And I want to experience it for myself. And maybe I can be an idol like Bear, maybe inspire others to seek the same desire perhaps save a life.

    Thank you for your time.

  35. Ive been a survival nut ever since ive seen man vs wild, if I had this oppertunity to be on any season of get out alive it would show me what its actually like to survive. Me and my brother are intense hikers and like to be pushed past are limits, not much of hunters but we can conquer anything we try.

  36. I am a 25 year old man, i was in the Navy for 3.5 years, i realize thats not long but at least im not lying about it (insert popular survivalist name here) i love being outside, especially in the wilderness, and would love the opportunity to go somewhere truly remote. For fun my best friend and I like to go out into the woods here in SC and and fashion shelters make primitive fire and even do some hunting with my recurve bow, our knives, and make shift weapons like wooden spears. I would jump at the chance to prove myself in an intense scenario.

  37. I am originally from Harare Zimbabwe, where survival to me means just another day! I now live in the UK where life is easy and a challenge hardly presents itself, unless its in the form of a pretty girl at a bar or nightclub. I went camping the other weekend with a few friends of mine where, much to their despair, and unknowingly to me, I was teaching them to survive, even if it was on a very basic level. I boiled water in a plastic bottle for tea each morning on an open fire, and took them on walks explaining the difference between plants and fruit that you can and cannot eat. They said it was more of a survival camp than a relaxing getaway. I would do anything to be able to put my skills and knowledge to the ultimate test, without doing it myself and potentially getting into dangerous situations. I would greatly appreciate you accepting my request.

  38. Every Saturday at the end of each month my partner and his friend head offf campaign for the night. Ever since I met my partner he has always been amazed bewitched, but at ease with nature, loves living it rough under the sky . I know him and his best froend are ample for ur sjow and would accept any challenge set for them..I know they won't fail! They will complete each and every task. They will excell in every task set out for them . These guys love nature and survival is a must Two extraordinary men . Also faithful fans of bear grylls. X

  39. I am 21 years old, very athletic guy with a love for the outdoors. Everytime I watch a Bear Grylls series I always think 'I could do that' or 'how hard can it be?' Now i see this as an opportunity to see for myself if I can really cut it in a survival situation. I'm a natural leader and would love to meet fellow aspiring survivalists!

  40. I am a huge fan of bear grylls and would love a chance to put my survival skill to the test no challenge to great to over come in my eyes!

  41. Hi I put my self in bears place every time I look at get out a live thinking I will do that ore I wont. I would really like to test my self to see if I can get out a live .i am 36 and like the out doors but is no bear grills this will be a incredible experience .

  43. Hello!
My name is Alyssa and I don't want to bore you with accolades of experience with outdoors and things. I just want you to know that i am BEYOND ready to challenge myself in Get Out Alive.

  44. I am a 37 year old Marine Corps veteran. I have tested myself constantly all my life with sports, an "if you can do it, so can I" outlook at life, and a desire to prove myself to myself alone. I got out of the Corps in 2002, and feel like I haven't truly tested myself in over a decade. I want to prove to myself I still have that drive and desire. I love being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and learning new tricks and techniques about survival. But I really enjoy looking at unorthodox ways to accomplish better results. I would love a shot at being on the second season of Get Out Alive, but I understand there are plenty others that would too. Either way, I'm still a fan. Live life to the fullest.

  45. Hello my name is Anthony Montances, I'm in the military as a policeman I would like to audition because I want to find myself and say I lived to the fullest. I would like to really push myself mentally and physically and would be interested in auditioning.
