Shot’s Fired is the new event series that will air on Fox. Casting directors are looking for extras to play bar patrons, neighbors, off duty cops, a bartender and extras with cars in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fox says “The series examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town in North Carolina. Sanaa Lathan is ASHE BELL, an expert investigator who digs into the cases. Stephan James is PRESTON TERRY, a special prosecutor sent to the town by the Department of Justice. The pair must navigate the media attention, public debate and the social unrest that comes with such volatile cases, as they seek justice before the divided town erupts.

Academy, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Helen Hunt will portray PATRICIA EAMONS, the politically fierce, fictional governor of North Carolina who prides herself on not being a typical politician. As the first female and Democrat governor in the state, she is in a tough re-election fight, and the national media attention on the recent shootings in her state is making it tougher. Academy- and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss will play ARLEN COX, a real estate mogul and owner of a privatized prison who is intricately involved in the shootings. Stephen Moyer will play OFFICER BREELAND, a seasoned veteran in the town’s Sheriff’s Department, who gets caught in the middle of the investigation.”

Casting directors are looking for extras to play bar patrons on Monday, April 4th. They are looking for 20 people to play in the hotel bar scene, males and females ages 20’s- 40’s. If you submit for this role, you should put 4/4 in the subject line of the email. On Tuesday, April 5th, they are looking for extras for two external house scenes and a cop bar scene. They need five people to play neighbors and five people with cars as well as 20 Caucasian males to play off duty cops at a cop bar (not needed after scene completed -will be standard extra pay not special cop rate). The casting team is also looking for someone to play an older former cop bartender. This role will be photo selected. They will need folks with Cars for last scene of the day. If you submit for this role, use the heading 4/5. For Friday, April 8th, casting directors are looking for extras for a church scene (African American). A contemporary Church with youthful Vibe. They are seeking some Teens, Many young adults (20’s-30’s) and several older members (40’s-60’s). This role should submit with heading 4/8 CHURCH.
