Here is your chance to audition for one of Broadway’s most acclaimed shows! Disney On Broadway is casting adults and kids for their upcoming production of “The Lion King”. Open Auditions are being held in Orlando, Dallas, Miami and New Orleans. The story of love and redemption is a stage adaptation of the Academy Award-winning 1994 Disney film, The Lion King is the story of a young lion prince living in the flourishing African Pride Lands.

Casting directors are seeking strong ADULT (18+) male and female singers who move very well to be in the ensemble and cover or potentially replace lead roles. They are seeking strong ADULT (18+) male and female dancers with a modern/ballet dance background—late teens to early 30’s. Some male dancers require strong acrobatic skills.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must remain at the audition site at all times. Please be prepared to wait.

Disney Theatrical is casting an immediate Broadway replacement for Young Simba and future replacements for Young Simba and Young Nala on Broadway and the National Tour. Minimum weekly salary is $2,168.22*. Payments subject to applicable state laws regarding trust funds for minors

Seeking children ages 9-12, between 50″-58″ in height, who can sing, dance, and act to play the African lion cubs Simba and Nala. We encourage children of all backgrounds to submit. No performance experience necessary. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must remain at the audition site at all times. Please be prepared to wait. Due to the nature of the roles, we have strict age/height limits. Please adhere to the guidelines. Our age range is 9 – 12 years old, and our height range is 52 – 58”. If you would like to check your child’s height before attending, have them remove their shoes, stand with their back and heels flat against the wall, and use a tape measure. Kids don’t need to bring anything to the audition, they just need to come ready to learn part of “Just Can’t Wait to Be King”.
