Wahlberg and Ferrell will reprise their roles from the first film while new comers Mel Gibson and John Lithgow will be portraying their fathers. Casting directors are holding open call auditions for child and adult models and actors. Producers are in need of males and females ages 6 and up to be background extras. “Daddy’s Home 2” will be filming in Boston, Massachusetts so they need locals.
According to Deadline, the sequel will follow father and stepfather, Dusty (Wahlberg) and Brad (Ferrell), are now working together to give their kids a perfect Christmas. When Dusty’s Dad (Gibson) and Brad’s Dad (Lithgow) arrive, their blended family conflicts rise to the surface.
