Another day, another hit series for The CW and yet another incredible opportunity for aspiring actors to make their break in the world of television acting. Producer Julie Plec (The Originals, The Vampire Diaries) and her team of casting directors are holding auditions for a variety of fabulous roles in Containment and submissions from up and coming performers are being accepted now.
Containment follows a group of people quarantined from the rest of the world after an epidemic outbreak in Atlanta. This powerful series shows what happens when people are cut off from their loved ones, thrown together with strangers and forced to build a society of their own within the walls in order to survive.
Ms. Plec has a well documented history of identifying and casting amazing up and coming acting talents and she has chosen an impressive collection of performers to lead her latest creation including David Gyasi (The Dark Knight Rises), Kristen Gutoskie (The Dust Storm), Christina Marie Moses (Nikita) and Chris Wood (The Carrie Diaries). In addition to creating the project Plec will also be producing alongside Emmy Award winner David Nutter (Without a Trace, Millennium, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Carl Joos (Max, The Memory of a Killer). Containment is set to become the next classic television drama and you could be a part of it.
