A kids casting call for a TV show is here for you to apply to! The Amazon series is looking for boys and girls to be extras for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The casting call is searching for union and non-union Caucasian children ages 7-10. Kids will be portraying upper West Siders. Filming will be in the New York City Area. It is scheduled to shoot on Monday, June 5th or Friday, June 9th. A fitting will take place on Friday, May 26th in Brooklyn.

According to Deadline, Michael Zegen and Rachel Brosnahan are set to star in the Amazon pilot. Set in the 1950s, the project centers on Miriam “Midge” Maisel (Brosnahan), who had her life mapped out for herself: go to college, find a husband, have 2.5 kids and throw the best Yom Kippur dinners in her elegant Manhattan apartment. But when her life takes an unexpected turn, Midge will have to decide quickly what else she’s good at. Going from uptown housewife to a stand-up comic in a grungy club in the Village is an appalling choice to everyone but Midge.

The team is accepting submissions from people local to the tri state area. All applicants must have a valid work permit and a trust account to work. Because this is a period piece boys must be comfortable receiving a 1950’s haircut. If you have a child actor who is looking to gain experience sign them up for the casting call!

Shoot date is Monday, June 5th or Friday June 9th (both exterior shoots) with a fitting on Friday, May 26th in Brooklyn.

No wool allergies, no braces, and TRI STATE AREA locals only.Must have valid work permit and trust account.
