A SCAD Master of Fine Arts Graduate student thesis Production is now casting actors for an upcoming film. SCAD or The Savannah College of Art and Design exists to prepare talented students for professional careers, emphasizing learning through individual attention in a positively oriented university environment.
The film called, “Fishing for Memories,” a story about a son who quickly comes to realize.

Production on Lake Oconee, Ga. – April 22 – April 24 2016.

Role Descriptions:
Young Ryan (Lead): Male, 6-8, Caucasian.
Enjoys stories, curious, great imagination.
Young Dad (Lead): Male, 40’s, Caucasian.
Ambitious, confident, loyal, military past. Hard on himself, high expectations, angers quickly. Fisherman, problem solver.
Older Ryan (Lead): Male, 40’s, Caucasian.
Charismatic, curious, great imagination. Excitable, unfamiliar with father’s condition. Experienced fisherman, problem solver.
Older Dad (Lead): Male, 70s or older, Caucasian.
Caring, kind, loyal. Depressed, quick to get frustrated, confused and belligerent at times. Experienced fisherman losing abilities.
Older Mom (Support Lead): Female, 70’s or older, Caucasian. Nurturing, dependable, caring. Truthful, headstrong, can be adamant.
Store Clerk: Male, 40’s, Caucasian.
Manages the bait and tackle store. Ryan’s high school friend. Enjoys fishing.
