The show’s casting team is looking for people to play police officers, detective and coroner types for the series. “The Vampire Diaries” was created by Kevin Williamson the man behind such enormous hits as Dawson’s Creek, The Scream movie franchise and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The series is set in the quaint town of Mystic Falls, Virginia which was once a hotbed of supernatural activity and becomes so again with the return after 145 years of vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore. The brothers presence reignites past battles with a host of mythical creatures and the brothers themselves fight for the affection of local beauty Elena Gilbert.

The CW television show is looking for background extras to work tomorrow, Wednesday, July 27th. The show is filming in Stockbridge, Georgia. These roles will have a late afternoon call time. You must have open availability to submit for the show as filming is expected to be a minimum of ten hours. Anyone who would like to be considered to play a first responder should be between the ages of 25 and 50 years old. They are looking for both males and females of all ethnicities.
