After a bit of a movie-making layoff, one of Hollywood’s most hilarious funnymen has been lining up a host of starring projects and his latest project is gearing up for casting now. Vince Vaughn is set to star in his next sure to be comedy classic The Delivery Man and auditions for several amazing roles are being held very soon. You can submit yourself today for your chance to star alongside a true comedy giant in the comedy of the year.
The Delivery Man is written and directed by award-winning Canadian auteur Ken Scott who will be reworking his original story from Starbuck, his hit sensation 2011 release. The film will tell the story of David Wozniak a normal, everyday guy who finds out that his wife is pregnant with their first child. Along with that great news comes some other, more unexpected news – because of an error at the fertility clinic that he made donations to years ago for extra money, he is also the father to hundreds of other children and now over 100 of them are filing a class action lawsuit to have his name revealed so that they can meet him. This is hilarious high concept comedy at it’s finest and could prove to be one of the crown jewels of Vaughn’s uproarious career. In addition to Vince, Scott has lined up some very exciting names in the early rounds of casting including Colbie Smulders (The Avengers, How I Met Your Mother), Chris Pratt ( Moneyball, Parks And Rec) and Britt Robinson (Scream 4, Life Unexpected) and there are still many supporting, day player and extras roles to fill in this fantastic production.
