It’s back! The amazingly popular Sunday Best is heading back to televisions everywhere for it’s 5th season of praise and glory. This is your chance to become the brand new face of gospel singing. Open auditions both in person and online are starting soon for the most fantastic and relevant singing show on television today.
Sunday Best is reality TV competition hosted by gospel legend Kirk Franklin that aims to find the next great American gospel superstar. Contestants that are chosen compete against each other each week until one special voice is left standing with the grand prize of a recording contract, a new car, a fabulous cash prize and the chance to have their talents of faith reach people then they could have ever imagined! The contestants are judged each week by a celebrity panel that featuring Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin, and Mary Mary members Tina and Erica Campbell and are mentored by award winning gospel star Kim Burrell. This amazing group guides each contestant each week to their very best performance possible. This could be the experience of a lifetime for any aspiring gospel singer. I had the opportunity to audition for Sunday best season 5 and it was ok. I have to say that it was an experience I will never forget. Lots of gifts and talents but no annointing and the word of God clearly says it's the annointing that destroys the yoke of sin in our lives. May the lord bless and keep all who compete and all the judges.
Hello as you know my name is Ashley Harrell and I want to start off by saying that GOD is the head of life and with out the LORD by my side I don't know where I would be I LOVE YOU JESUS THANK YOU.. I am coming to you from far away Cleveland,OH and I am a 24year old single mother of a wonderful 5month old baby boy named Ashton an he is my everything. I told GOD from the time I was 16teen up until I was 23 that I did not want no Babies an I think I GOD was listing to me all the way up until December of 2010 that's when I found out that I was having a little person, sorry to say the person I have had him with is missing out on being a father to a wonderful baby boy but as my parents keep telling me my son has the best father in the world an his name is JESUS. I am a women who LOVES the LORD very much and GOD is doing some good things for my family and one of them is the best ever an that is that my mother will soon become the best MINISTER she is on Saturday June 2,2012. Hey yall I'm Lindsey AKA Linsabella Ariella. I'm a 17 year old Caucasian female, I live in NY, and I have reddish hair, and greenish blue eyes. I can do and love with all my heart doing so many things. Things like singing, dancing, acting, song writing, choreography, writing, and just so much more. I am so in love with GOD and JESUS some of the songs I've written are about them. I praise them and talk to them every day, you have no idea just how much. I can pretty much do whatever you'd need me or want me to do. I love these things with a passion. I have been in several plays in school, one of which I was the main character. I am extremely serious which makes me serious about the job and getting things done right and 150%. I have been looking up and waiting for an opportunity like this for years. I am writing in regards to one of the most gracious, kind-hearted, triumphant woman I know…my mother!! She has opened for oldies but goodies such as Delfonics, Billy Paul, and a few others but her passion has always been gospels!! My mother has battled many storms, losing her daughter when she was 27, an aunt who was her namesake, a brother she cared for until his last days and and many other close friends and family members. Needless to say, shw still walks in her faith and has never doubted what blessings are to come. There are sooo many things I could speak about but I will let her voice tell the stories for her. Even though we don't have a lot of money and we do struggle, I am a strong believer that in the right hands, her blessings will runneth over. I LOVE MY MOTHER, SHE IS MY ROCK, AS WELL AS THE MATRIARCH OF THE FAMILY AND I AM HOPING THAT SHE IS GIVEN THE CHANCE TO FOLLOW HER DREAMS!!!

Hi, I really wanted to come for audition for this show this year, but seems I'm late. I love Gospel music with my all and I really felt like being part of the 2012 group, however God has his plan I will make it in time next year. I love your show and I watched it every Sunday and I would sing with the candidate. Next time I will be there.

My husband is so annointed with a voice that God has blessed him with. We traveled to St. Louis this pass weekend and stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown. We were not able to get in through the doors so my husband could share his voice with Sunday's best judges or viewers. Is there another alternative for him to be heard before the final votes are placed for this year? i have always been bless by God to sing gospel and even as little girl i always felt the power of the almighty God when i would open my mouth and sing i have always Been one that will push others out there to show their talent but i was always slow to step out on my own mainly because coming from a small town i thought i was just an a&b selection choir girl but then the lord bless me to give birth to a gifted son with knowledge & anointed musical talent and he informed me that i was sitting down on my gifts and talents but i love the lord with all my heart and im gonna serve him until i die!!

God has anointed me and appointed me to Minister in Song for such as time as this.Music is Ministry and that's what I will do!! That's why I believe I should be on Sunday Best!!
I am one of 15 children, my mother raised us all to sing and thank God in doing so. We have always been told we could be the next Jackson's, it has not happened. I want to be the Next Sunday's Best, because if you don't use it you lose it. I do not want to lose it. I sing in my church choir and am happy to do so, and like humans i want to be heard.

Sunday Best is one of my favorite tv shows,I've watched all the seasons and loved all the winners voices! It's not about the voices though its about singing for God and giving him glory!!!

Hello to everyone. I am interested in auditioning for Sunday Best. I realize that I ahve a gift that God bless me with and I finally start using my talent for the Lord. I use to just sit and sing at my house or at church in the congregation and when I hear people singing I say I can do that and now I sing every chance I can. I recently I song one of MaryMary songs and brought tears to my own eyes. I want to do things not just for me but for my family. God knows my heart and he knows what I desire so I felt it was time for me to try out for Sunday Best. God Bless each and every one of us.

Being deploed in Iraq when the show first aired, and being stationed across sea not able to watch programs from the United States was only fitting I was blessed to catch last season! As a child growing up with a C.O.G.I.C pastor for a dad, I started singing early! Standing on the offering table, singing wherever and whenever, even to go to sleep! Singing is not just something I do it's who I am! Going thru, I got a song! The gift to bless, heal, or find comfort in a song was how my mother that everything will be alright! On the battlefield, I always sang songs that helped inspire my comardes, to hang in there! From plays to, bible study, special programs whenever and wherever I love to sing his praises! Not deployed right now, and stationed in a very remote location I pray and would very much appreciate the opportunity to be on Sundays best because it would give me the chance to take God to so much more of the world. God has gifted me with the voice, kept his arms around me and many others on the battlefield shielding from so much that I have so much to thank him for and I owe him all the praise! I had all the Soldiers watching we absolutely love the show!
