It’s back! The amazingly popular Sunday Best is heading back to televisions everywhere for it’s 5th season of praise and glory. This is your chance to become the brand new face of gospel singing. Open auditions both in person and online are starting soon for the most fantastic and relevant singing show on television today.
Sunday Best is reality TV competition hosted by gospel legend Kirk Franklin that aims to find the next great American gospel superstar. Contestants that are chosen compete against each other each week until one special voice is left standing with the grand prize of a recording contract, a new car, a fabulous cash prize and the chance to have their talents of faith reach people then they could have ever imagined! The contestants are judged each week by a celebrity panel that featuring Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin, and Mary Mary members Tina and Erica Campbell and are mentored by award winning gospel star Kim Burrell. This amazing group guides each contestant each week to their very best performance possible. This could be the experience of a lifetime for any aspiring gospel singer. Bless, talented. Singing praises is all i love to do. I've been singing for over 35yrs and I wouldn't change it. For years people have told me how annoited my voice is. My son who is serving over in Kuwait told me mom this is your year go for it. My son who's overseas had many obstacles last yr. I almost lost him 2 times from a stabbing to him flipping 3 times in my expedition landing on a fire hydrant but god kept him. After the passing of my favorite singer this year it hit me. I was just like Whitney I didn't think my voice was good enough. But that week I was quiet to myself and that's when the lord told me my child use your gift I've given you. Share it with the world. It's my season to be on Sundays best.
For years people have told me my voice was anointed . I've been singing for 37yrs. In church, at school ,etc. it was the death of my all time singer Whitney Houston, that made me realize I really need to share my gift with the world. I always watch the show and thought how talented and annoited the singers were. My children always said mom you need to go on Sunday Best. My older son Greg who's overseas serving our country, told me mom it's your time. God wants you to share your voice. He was stab last feb 2011, broke his ankle in July 2011, and flipped 3 times in aug driving my expedition. My daughter almost died after she gave birth to her daughter in 2010. I know what the Lord has done for me and my family. Now it's time for me to share what he has bless me with. Hallelujah is the highest praise .
I love to sing, I sang in my church choir since I was a teenager. I usually sing in front of a mirror most of the time. I sometimes want to audition but I think its mostly fear, but my husband encourages me a lot so I think that I want to try.

I am 32 years old from Florence, SC. I began singing at the age of 4 in church. When I was 7 I found that I I loved the Lord and that I was blessed with the gift of vocal ministry. Since that time I've been singing in attempts to spread the gospel through my songs. I would like the opportunity to share this gift with the world and I'd like to began with BET's Sunday Best.
I believe that every trial God has allowed me to experience up until now has lead me to this: Sunday's Best.
To get the oil out of the olive it must be crushed; and I have been crushed for such a time as this.
This is a spiritual war, and one of the greatest weapons God gave me to use is my voice.

Glory and honor goes to God. The bible says for every thing there is a season. I have had a wake up call going through a stroke at age 25 and I can hear gods voice saying its your time! I know that I'm here to be a blessing to someone's life through music and I've know it since age 9 that it was my calling. Being Sunday's best allows me to touch so many more people and I won't stop there.

I love this show @nd besides Bobby Jones Gospel in the morning then, by 6pm its Sunday's Best; Thats my complete start, to going to cjurch by 9:15am sunday morning,worship service @t 10:45am, the pastor breaking the bread of life @t noon; Then by the time we're dismissed, the family comes over and we eat,fellowship and then talk about our church services. Couple hours later my family @nd I sit and watch sunday's best and my father, Rev. Percy Robinson, looks at me and says you should've tried out Angela!

I would love to be apart of Sunday best. I feel it will be a great experience for me as a young teen and I love to sing, write and some what produce my own music. As a young girl music is a stress reliever when I sing or listen to gospel it makes me feel renewed. Singing is one of my talents even though I’m very shy I feel that this will help me improve my self confidence and self esteem and help me get closer to god and the calling that is on my life. I have been through a lot of things and being a preachers kids doesn’t make things better it makes things harder you have to stay prayed up at all times, because there are so many temptations that your flesh wants as a young or older person, that you cant do and I have fallen in to those temptations so many times but I thank got for my praying mother I want to be on Sunday best for my mom and for my self, and I would share my story to help out another young person. I feel that music is the best way to reach someone and also through poetry. As of now I’m in high school I plain to go to college to become a music producer. Greetings! My name is Melissa Bradley from Valdosta, Georgia. I've been singing since I was a young girl and was exposed to various music genres including gospel. I started singing in the church choir when I was eleven years old. Other singing experiences inluded singing within the High School choir here in Valdosta, Morris Brown College Concert Choir while attending during the years 1986-1991. I praise God for the privilege of singing back-up with a small ensemble on the recording of Babbie Mason's YOU'RE THE ONE during my time at Morris Brown College. I play piano also, mostly by ear, I am a song writer and have had opportunities to record my own demos by God's allowance. I love to sing and I want to truly worship God in my singing.
I should be allowed to audition for "Sunday's Best" because it's not everyday that God prepares someone to do special things for him. I believe there is a spiritual message in my singing that will encourage many people to serve God as I do, without hesitation or reservation; to give freely of themselves; and to do so with joy in their heart, soul, spirit, and mind.
I'm very interested in auditioning for Sunday's Best. But because of the different site locations for the auditions along with the dates I'm unable to come in during those times because of my family obligations. I know that's not a great excuse but I'm hoping you will see it as an honest one. If chosen as one of the two to be given a chance at an audition that would be great. Hello. I've been fighting with myself for years to actually take my singing to next level. Yes I've grown up singing in church from point of little girl until now.I may be small and I look no where my age but I believe I'm a true powerhouse.I've had hurdles as people most times do but I'm claiming VICTORY!!!!!I've avoided stepping up to another level professionally due to respect of my grandmother. My grandmother's last wish to me before she passed was for me to sing. Some people spend a lifetime searching for their calling or rather…sorry gift from GOD. I know what my gift is…Thanks GOD. In the book of I Timothy 4:14 it talks about not to neglect the gift God has given you. and I feel that with the anointing of God I can minister in song with the gift he has given me. I sing to give praise to God and to hopefully help someone get healed, delivered and or revived through song.
I pray that I get chosen so I can continue to be used by God in every aspect he see's fit for me.
Ever since I was 10 years old I've had a passion for worshipping and singing unto my Lord and Savior and now that I am 28 years old my relationship with my heavenly Father is on another level, my singing is becoming more about a love letter to God. I have been singing since I was three and I plan to be singing for a very long time.It has been a dream of mine to be on Sunday's best or to at least audition for it.I can sing pretty much anything, but I love gospel music! My grandmother recently passed away and one of her dreams was for me to be on Sunday's Best, but she died before this dream could come true. I promised her that I would do it for her and I will not rest until I make it happen. My whole family and anyone who has ever heard me sing have said that I should be on somebodies TV, but I have never had the opportunity.
