The Walt Disney Company is dipping into it’s own rich history for their next fascinating feature film and they have recruited one of the biggest movie stars of all time to star. Two time Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks has signed on to feature in the biopic Saving Mr. Banks and casting calls for this fantastic new production are being planned now. Several roles will be available in what could be the film to watch in 2013.
Mary Poppins is one of the most beloved Disney films in history but most fans don’t know the true story of how the timeless family classic actually made it to the biog screen – until now. Saving Mr. Banks will detail the enthralling 14 year period wherein Walt Disney tried relentlessly to convince Austrian author P.L. Travers to let his company adapt her classic novel into a motion picture. This film promises to be a searing behind the scenes look into the man that was Walt Disney and the rigorous process involved in bringing Mary Poppins to audience everywhere. Ms. Travers was very emotionally connected to this her most successful work and after finally agreeing to Disney’s requests, ended up despising the final film and what had been done to her precious characters including the titular character Mr. Banks. Saving Mr. Banks is a story full of hard work and hard feelings and is sure to be on every major film award watchlist in the new year. John Lee Hancock, the man behind the crowd pleasing hit The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock has been selected as the films director and he has lined up and impressive cast thus far that will feature Mr. Hanks as Walt Disney, Academy Award Winner Emma Thompson (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Nanny McPhee) as Ms. Travers and the talents of Colin Farrell (In Bruges, The Recruit), Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore, Slackers) and Paul Giamatti (Private Parts, American Splendor) in supporting roles. My granddaughter is eight years old and she has a very eccentric personality which is a revelation for a child. She can be loud and boisterous, but also witty and sharp at the same time. Her communication skills amongst her elders surpasses any of her peers I have come into contact with. She is starving for the spotlight and I truly believe this is as good an opportunity as any.

Joseph Helmyand I am a actor I can do any type of theme ive been studying with my mom who happens to have a masters theater. I am always wantin to take a chalange the biggest chalange ive been through I wasn't able to chose this challenged I had a rare hip condition called perthes its where the ball of the hip collapses due to a lack of blood flow theres no cure but treatment I had to have ten titanium pins put in my hip this was called distraction treatment and these were also on the outside for 6 months but I know if I can get through perthes then I can do anything. there were only a couple good things about perthes it taught me how to overcome obsticales I got to meet the winner of survivor Fiji earl cole he suffered from the same thing he had a camp for kids with my disease it got me some nice things as a gift from camp like a singed buff grown ups 2 towel and a tube some posters a after earth gift set but most of all what I learned there's a light at the end of the tunnel even if you cant see it its here so never give up and you will see the light get there I also like doing wheelchair basket ball with Seattle adaptive sports
