  1. Hey Sandra,

I have lived in Cobb County for the past 5 years and moved here from Delaware. I have never owned a home and working for a non-profit I am limited. I moved down with terrible credit from college and worked hard over the 5 years to finally get myself back on track. I am 30 and single and now ready for my next move. I have been pre-approved and have a down payment. My biggest stipulation is that I have a pitbull that I rescued from a bad area when he was a puppy. He is my life and although he is the sweetest baby, I am worried that I will have an issue finding a home. PLEASE HELP!!!!

  3. Hi, I am actually entering my son & daughter in law that live in San Diego. They are newlyweds looking for their first home. Because we moms can't be there to help, we feel that Sandra would step in and do what their realtor has neglected to do, know the laws and help them find their home. I watch the show all of the time and know that San Diego has been shown before. Thanks!

  4. Lisa and I want to get on your show desperately. We have been together for six years and wedding bells are in the near future. We rent an apartment, in a closet sized apartment, under the flight path of incoming planes, to San Diego Airport. We have a high need Yorkie, Jack, who needs a yard. We have the down payment and we are prequalified. We want a fixer upper with good location. Please help. Love HGTV. Wish your show was on more….

  5. My name is Ben. My Fiance, Lisa and I are living in a closet sized 1 bedroom apartment, under flight path of incoming planes to San Diego Airport. We are now looking for a home of our own in San Diego. We want a fixer upper close to the water. I am handy and want to have our dream home become a reality. I hope this comment will help me get on your show somehow. I tried to apply before and I think I applied to become an actor/ model instead. We watch HGTV and your show constantly.

  6. My name is Tara Cannon, I moved to Atlanta approximately a year ago in search of the "american dream" for one!! I am single and own a pet name Dakota (cat). We are originally from the Bronx. I always wanted to own my home. Here in Atlanta my dream seems obtainable. I am currently searching in Metro Atlanta and hope to move in to my first owned property by November 2012, as my lease will be up. I truly need the assistance & expertise that you can provide, as I know nothing about the process, but look forwward to the challenge. I think it would be interesting to document my search, as I am a girl born/raised in the jungles of the urban city of New York, and here I am now in beautiful Georgia searching for my very first home, then a husband. One thing I promised Dakota when I picked her out of an abandoned litter in an alley, that I would one day give her a better life. Now help me keep my promise!!! Thanks.

  11. Hello,
My name is Autumn and my husband Zach and I have been searching for the perfect home in Boca Raton Florida. We have put 7 offers on homes and either investors have bought them by paying less and using cash, or they want a conventional loan. We are ready to make a purchase and call south Florida our home. We dated for 6 years and have been married one year this March 19 2012, what a great anniversary present to be on your show and purchase a home. I am a Registered Nurse and my husband is a Project Engineer, we have money saved and great credit, please help us make our dreams come true!

  12. Oh, by-the-by, love your show and love, love love, HGTV…I honestly have it on all waking moments, (well, unless I'm watching the odd show on DIY that is) -y-

  13. Hello Sandra,
I am a 50+ single woman (finally) in search of my first home in the Tri-State area (within 30 mi of NYC) and I’m very motivated to buy very soon!!!!
My credit score is 720+ and have pre-qualed for $200K+…I am an Independent Corporate Flight Attendant and work out of the White Plains, NY, Farmingdale, NY, Teterboro, NJ, Morristown, NJ, and Waterbury/Oxford, CT airports so I need to be within a 2 hr. driving distance between all 4 airports.
Due to my “Tri-state” interests and state realtor licensing restrictions, I've been quite diligent with my own on-line research but must admit it's becoming somewhat overwhelming.
I’ve done a little research on the current government 203k home improvement loans, which I’m also interested in as my (distant) background is that of Interior Designer and Home Re-modeler so I’m not afraid of homes/townhouses that need updating or “TLC.”
Although I have no children, for resale value, I’m interested in areas with “good school districts” such as: Stamford & Greenwich, CT, areas just north of NYC (New Rochelle & Momaroneck, NY), and/or areas on the west side of the Hudson River in NJ; i.e., Fort Lee, Edglewood Cliffs, Teaneck, Glen Ridge, Clifton, etc
Because my new home interests include all 3 states, I cannot find a Realtor who licensed in all three states so narrowing down my search has become very challenging.
My wish list is (in order of preference): outside space (patio or balcony), laundry (hook-ups) in unit/home, parking garage, central heating/air (or upgradable to), 2 bdrm + den, 2 bath, 1st floor or elevator,
    Please HELP me ASAP!!!!
    Thanks (inadvance)!!
    Yvonne Gillham

  17. Hi Sandra

I am obsessed with your show! My Fiance Brad and I are getting married in July 2012 and desperately need your help. Currently we are both living at his parents’ house in Maryland. Neither of us has ever purchased a home before and we now have enough money saved up to buy a house.

Brad and I are very different decision makers. I see something that I like and buy it. Brad on the other hand has to exhaust, and I mean exhaust all of his options before making a decision. One week he is only interested in all brick houses and the next he only wants a house on a lot of land. I am done with all of the stipulations and ready to take the plunge into home ownership. We have seen hundreds of house and feel more lost now then when we started.

    Sandra help us!

  18. My husband and I are currently looking to purchase our first home, we have two children and are looking at the Dallas/Fort Worth areas, preferably Burleson. 19. Hi,
We have been married for almost 2 years. We have been looking for a house for that entire time in Northwest Ohio (Toledo area). We want to find a home in the suburbs. We have looked at so many homes, but have difficulty finding EVERYTHING we want. We have a 1 year old daughter, and live in the Mobile home that my husband grew up in. We are so anxious to find a home where we can raise our family. Please help us to select our first home!!!

  20. My husband has been in the military active duty for almost 5 years and has been stationed in Cuba, which at the time was dependent restricted and now currently Guam, which is thousands of miles away and on the other side of the world from our family/friends and what we call home. He has been deployed for almost a year now off and on and shortly will be coming home in March. We are scheduled to move back to the mainland around August-November of this year. We will be moving to Virginia and will be searching for our first home. We have only known the military life setting, so searching for our first home will be challenging since all we have ever known is base housing or whatever was given to us. We would like to settle down in his hometown so we can start our family where not only we can have a place to call home, but also have our family involved in our lives which they have not been able to do so in 5 years. Any help would be much appreciated since we are transitioning back into the “Real World”. Thanks.
    -Amanda

  21. I love Sandra and the show BUT Sandra drives me crazy when she keeps telling people to ask for concessions from the sellers. Concessions are creative financing terms and are not realty items. The other thing is she just mentioned on a show that lead base paint could be in homes built before 1960. Lead base paint is in homes that were built in 1978 or before. Thanks for listening to my comments. I really love all the shows on HGTV. carol

I don't think I can take another year of apartment life! We've had a lot of time to think about what we want, but need some help taking that first step. We would love it if Sandra could guide us on our first home search!

  25. Marrying the man of my dreams in December 2010 was the best day of my life. What could be better? Finding the home of our DREAMS. We are currently renting and spending $1800 a month (inc. utilities) and are ready for the next big step…our FIRST home! With both of us as active duty military members, things can get hectic. We are blessed to be in the area for many, many years! Please…help us…help us find a home in Vrginia Beach/Chesapeake area!!

  30. Hi Sandra!

My fiance John and I are getting married in 3 days! I've always loved your show, but as I'm making programs and finalizing seating charts I keep myself sane watching your show and looking for homes. We currently rent in Philadelphia and are looking to purchase our first home. I am an accountant and John is a car sales associate. We'd love to live just outside the city but feel our needs in a home might just outweigh our budget – HELP PLEASE!

    Hope to hear from you!

  31. hii my name is sharee stephen and my aunt caroline burgess and her family of three will be looking for a home in this summer. She has never had or purchased any property this will be her first starter home so help her make the right choice and make it national so we can catch the re-runs.

  32. My boyfriend Ryan and I are looking to purchase our first place. We have been together for 2 years and have a wonderful little family. Our daughter Aiyana who is 4 years old ans our new baby boy Rylee who is 4 months old. We are currently renting at $1,350 a month. We would rather put it towards something that we own. I am a stay at home mother and part time insurance paramedical examiner. Ryan is an engineer for an offshore company. Ryan works 28 days and gets to come home for 14 days which makes the process very difficult. We are looking about 70 minutes outside of New Orleans. Hopefully we can wrap things up soon enough to where we don't have to sign another rental lease!

  33. Hello!

My fiance and I are ready to buy our first home!! We started our search last year and through the beginning of this year. When we were reaching the end of our previous lease we decided to move to a new place in Allston (Boston), MA that will let us go month-to-month after our first year's lease. We are to be married in December this year, then we are going to start up our hunt again. We looked at so many places before but just couldn't find (and win) the right one! When we did find a place or two that seemed perfect, it was gone in a heartbeat (sometimes before we even got to see it!) It was really frustrating, and a lot of work, but we know it will be worth it when we finally end up in a place of our own. Because of our price range, we looked at a lot of foreclosures, and that came with its own set of difficulties and pitfalls. We even bid on a housing auction, and lost by just $15,000. Please help us navigate this difficult market and buy our first home!

    Thanks,
    Anne Marie & Brian

  36. My name is Sophia. My husband, Khalif and myself have been married for 2 years going on 3 and have been renting for the same amount of time. We are looking to own but have been lost in finding something that meets our wants and our needs. The entire buying process let alone navigating through all the different types of homes on the market is not only confusing but very scary. We are both big fans of the show and could really use your experience and kindness in dealing with us property virgins. Eagerly awaiting your response we appreciate your considertation.

    Thank You,

  37. Me and my fiancé will be getting married in September 2012 and would like to buy a house before then. We have been together for 3 years now and have been living in his parents basement for about a year now with his little 5 year old boy with us. We are ready to get our own place and start our own family. We need plenty of room for us, with room to grow our family.

  38. Hey Property Virgins!

I'm a 24 year old who worked three jobs in college and scrounged in the real world to save up enough money to buy a house. Currently, I work at a non-profit advocacy organization and decided to go back to school to become a paramedic! I want to buy a house to have some stability in my crazy, busy life and I'm tired of living in my cramped apartment I share with three guys.

I moved to Austin in a whim and have fallen so head over heels and plan on rooting myself here. I am buying a house in East Austin because it's close to school… and all the bars I go to. My best friend Jill, a graphic designer who moved here from Boston, is going to live with me so we're looking for a cute house that will fit my budget.

The most expensive thing I have ever purchased is this laptop I'm writing this comment on, so buying a house is going to be a huge adventure…

Hope Property Virgins and Sandra will be a part of it!
    Selena

  39. In the 6 years my husband and I have been together, we have lived in 4 homes, lived through 1 deployment and 2 states. We have orders to move to Camp Pendleton, CA in December 2011 and while currently residing in Wichita Falls, TX, we will purchase our first home from afar. We have taken 1 trip to Southern California already and are planning our second (and last trip) late October 2011. This is a scary and exciting time and while we are going to be utilizing our VA loan to secure financing, we are totally lost. Please help us 🙂 In the meantime, I will continue to be a huge fan of your show!

  40. My boyfriend and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE watching Property Virgins and just recently moved around Allentown, PA in May 2011. We only plan to rent for a year then want to find a house that we can grow into! We have an idea of what we want but need help finding it. He needs a quiet office, he works out of his home and needs space to conduct business. He is an avid gearhead and requires some garage space to restore cars, store motorcycles etc.
I like a nice kitchen and open concept to entertain. I know Sandra is the one person who could help us find our dream house we so much desire!

    Thank you!
    Eager to be homeowners,
    Jen and Will

  41. My husband and I just got married in June of 2011 and are looking to buy our house either Jan-April of 2012. Our current lease is up in March of 2012. We are tired of putting so much money into a rental with nothing really to show for it, and we are ready to build some equity! We have a sweet, 18 month old daughter, and a rowdy, 3 year old Boston Terrier. We are currently renting in the H.E.B. area of Texas (near Fort Worth) and would like to stay in this general area. I watch Sandra's show all the time and I really feel she would be able to help us in our search! She did a show a year or so ago where she found the cutest houses in Fort Worth, TX and I just loved what she was able to find, and in my current price range too! I don't know if the show is considering coming to DFW Texas in 2012, but if they do I would LOVE to be considered for the show!

    Thank you!!

  42. Sandra SOS! My boyfriend and I have been living (renting) in Cow-town AB for the past three years! Our house is a cozy 650sq feet and during the fall gets even cozier when our friends (and by friends I mean mice) decide to move in for the winter! Needless to say it becomes a daily battle tring to trap the little rodents! We could EASILY move but we love love LOVE the area! We both bike to work and are only minutes away from exiting the city and heading to the mountains on the weekends! We are both ready to buy, however we get cold feet when we discuss putting in offers. We need your help Sandra!!

  43. I am 31yo disabled veteran. I was injured in Iraq in 2003. I am org from the williamsport,Pa. I now live in Philadelphia. I am looking to buy my first place in 2012 or 2013.
I dont know much at all about this whole home buying stuff. I was thinking around 300k or so.
I do not want to live in the city. I want at least a half acre and no more then an hour drive to work. The challenge is trying to find something that is up to date, move in ready that is not a 100 years old within the price range.
Do you think you can help this disabled veteran?
    Thanks

  44. I am as virgin and green as a person can get. I live on a reservation and the way we purchase a home is totally not the same as the way it is done off reserve. After losing my parents recently, I am currently selling their house and would like to invest in property around Orlando, more specifically a Condo or Townhouse. I am currently employed in Canada and love Disney. I plan to work there one day and would love to have a residence around the Orlando area. I've been searching for properties now for almost 10 years but am scared to enter the real-estate world. Sandra, I need your help and guidance!

    Connie Moon Martin

P.S. If I don't make the show, would you still be able to help me?

  45. Hello,

My husband and I have recently been married, and we are in the market for our first home. We have looked on the MLS and other real estate websites in search of our first home; however, we are having trouble in agreeing on an area.
My husband would prefer to stay in the city, whereas I would not mind moving to the suburbs in order to maximize our space and land. We live in Montreal,QC, where the prices are pretty high.
We watch first timer Mondays on HGTV in order to help gain knowledge on the real estate market; and we think that Sandra is someone who can help and guide us to our first home together.

Thanks for your time, and hope to hear back soon.

    Lesley and Adam

Thanks for reading and we look forward to hearing back.

  49. Hi I my name is Shelly. My husband and I are planning on purchasing a home in the near future. We got married the beginning of last year…and 9 months to the day were were wed we had our first child. A lot has changed in a year, and our need for a home has increased. We currently live in a 1 bedroom apt. I did mention we just had a daughter…however I should say we also have a son…Sparticus our dog…as you will learn he makes many of the decisions in our household as he is regarded very high on the pecking order here haha. House hunting has been a true chore for us for several reasons, most importantly because my husband and I are complete and TOTAL OPPOSITES…we pretty much have a different opinion on everything…making the project of searching for a home a very difficult 1. My main priority when buying a home is having a decent sized piece of land…for my daughter to play…and for our dog (king) a large yard to run and poop lol. I very much want to find a home with privacy…if I could avoid neighbors all together..I would love it. My husband and I have disagreeing opinions on everything…although we are opposite and do disagree…we have a phenomenally entertaining relationship….there is NEVER a dull moment between us and I tend to be a comedian…lightening the mood when things can become tense. I do make a joke out of everything…however, not everyone has a sense of humor. We make our relationship work work because we balance each other out. If I am headstrong about one thing, he points out a different aspect I may have not considered and vise versa. Our dog and daughter will be the most important things when making the decision of what house to purchase and where. Complicating matters…my husband works out in Hackensack and his mother, who helps watch our daughter lives closer to Pennsylvania..making location and huge issue when purchasing a home. We are trying to strike a balance and find something half way or close to it. We both like the allure of "the country" setting…if you can even use that term in NJ. The stress of his job, coupled by the stress of living in NJ allures us both to more of a quiet setting to reside in this state. Please help us…I promise YOu will never be bored while filming…maybe I'll get a laugh or two out of ya. Hope to hear from you soon…

  50. Hello! I am about to turn 24 next week and my fiance and I are ready to buy our first home in Southern California. The problem is I own and run a dance studio and my fiance works crazy hours. So we are struggling to find time to find a home. Please help us! Thanks Sandra!

  51. I am a recent college graduate living and working in a college town. In that past year I have lived in a shameful but over-priced apartment and am now living with a friend in her boyfriend's parents' condo. I am ready to put down some roots and have a place of my own, but I have NO IDEA where to start. I need help finding a decently priced place that isn't too "college life" like, but that isn't reaching too far out of my budget. Please help me find a place to call home! 🙂

Looking forward to hearing from you!!

    Abby

  52. Hi Sandra,

While we are not technically property virgins, we are looking to invest in a second home that we can use and supplement as a vacation rental in the Lake Tahoe area. We have $25,000 for a down payment and are looking in the low $200,000. But since a second home is so different than a primary residence we would really enjoy being the first "Vacation/Rental Home Virgins" that you help. This would be another way to help the real estate market here in the No Cal area.
We have been fans of your show for years even though we have purchased a home, we always learn something.

  53. Hello, I'm looking to purchase my first home next year. I reside in Nashville, Tennessee and I'm excited about becoming a first time home buyer. I currently reside with my sister and niece now it's time for me to purchase my own home!!!! I'm a single female and I need all of the help I can get in this journey;Property Virgins is the solution!!

  54. I got married July 6 2010 so me and my husband are still newlyweds. Right now he is in the transition of getting out of the military due to a knee injury. We have a 6 year old and a 4 month old and could really use a house that has a lot of space for them as well as an updated kitchen for me because I love to cook. Im going to school for nursing hoping two finish in the next year and a half.
I love watching your show Sandra you are a miracle worker and you show the good in real estate as well as the bad.
Hope To Hear from you soon Sandra,

    Thank You
    Jessica

  55. Hi Sandra! I watch your show all the time and you and your team give great advice to first time home buyers. I'm a pharmacist and I'm currently renting in manhattan but I work from home so I'm ready to relocate and own my first home. I'm interested in a new construction condo in the north Miami beach area. I'm in my late 20s and know that you and your team can help me find a great new home! Hope to hear from you soon!

  56. My cousin, Hannah just got engaged to Jason, the man of her dreams. They are very young and are in dire need of your help finding the perfect home and at a great price. They are currently living with Jason's parents, his nephew, his brother and brother's girlfriend, who's expecting. It's getting cramped and they want their own place with plenty of space. They are looking at a house to start another chapter in their lives and once they get their home, they will begin planning their dream wedding and then start their own family. They have already been pre-approved with the bank, so now all they need is your professional help finding the best place to call home.
    Thanks,
    Heather S.

  57. Hello Sandra, hope it's not to late to ask for a little bit of your help. I'm a bachelor looking to own that first home. I love making something my own. I'm very good with my hands from plumbing, carpentry, and general problem solveing. So, I can't wait to get a little fixer upper with a yard and tons of potential. The only problem is i live in orange county, CA. The prices still kinda high and the banks are tough. I have to still live close to friends, family, and of course work. Plus, this area is got to be one the greatest places to live. I have great credit and a great job; wish it paid more but don't we all. I recently moved back home with the folks to help save up faster but need to get out now. I've been looking for over a year now and need the help of an expert. I hope with your knowledge and expertise you can help me find my first home.
    Yours Truly,
    Doug Williams

  59. Hello, My husband and I are looking to buy our first house and would love to have Sandra's help. We have been married seven years now and have lived in four different states during that time. He is in the military and we are currently on orders to move to Wa, just outside of Tacoma. We are hoping that this will be our last move for a while and would love for our three daughters to have a home to call their own. Thank you for any help along the way!

  60. I recently moved to Toronto to pursue life and a career in the big city. I am a 25 year old single male looking to purchase my first home. I am mostly focused on the downtown core but as I browse through the listings I am discovering I do not get a lot for my money. It's discouraging and it's putting a damper on my dreams of becoming a first-time home/condo owner… Help!

  61. My fiance, Dan, and I are getting married in June of 2012 and looking for our first home sometime in 2012 (either before or after the wedding). We love watching the show and learning about first time home buying, and are so excited to be able to purchase a home in this economy. We’re both 20-somethings and work for two different Fortune 100 companies, and are looking for a home right outside the city in which we work in Connecticut, but also want to find a town that family-friendly and has a good school system for when we decide to have children in the future.
We are both incredibly excited to purchase a place that we can call our own.

    Hope you hear from you,
    Kristina

  62. Hello, my husband and I have been married for over two years and we are looking for our own place. We have been approved for 200K, and I’m pretty sure we could get more if we asked but we know that all we can really afford at the moment is around 150 – 175k. We really don’t’ want to get involved in a foreclosure, and I would love it if the place could be newer rather than an old condo like the one we currently rent.

I know that if anyone can work miracles it would be Sandra. I say miracles because we would want a nice neighborhood, the one we are in or a county near by and we need it to be close to the train so my husband can go into NY for his job.

We have been renting a one bedroom condo but it’s old, small and we can’t open the windows because we have the parking lot right there, basically we are living in a basement, or as my husband named it “the dungeon”.

We really need more space. I’m currently unemployed so as a way to supplement our income I do freelance work from home, for this i need my own space. I need an office, I’m tired of working in the living/dining area and the bedroom!

I’ve also been stock shopping to save money but I’m tired of having to store my groceries under my coffee tables, we really need more space. We would love a two or three bedroom condo.

Please Sandra help me leave the dungeon!

    Thanks,

    Monica

  63. Greetings! I think this is a fabulous idea, and I do believe that we should have a property virgin show that I can host in Rhode Island. Im trying to understand why any first time home buyer would want an agent that is not familiar with the Rhode Island market to help them find a home? good luck to you all!!!

  64. My spouse and I are working on purchasing our very own house. Currently, we are living with our parents (my in-laws). We are young wedded couple with a 10 months old baby. We plan to settle in the Brampton area so my in-laws can be close to their grandchild, being that my spouse is the only child. In our situation, there are more than us (my spouse and I) who will be inputting on which house we should buy. Other interesting aspect of our house hunt is that am new to Canada and the culture is very different from our Africa culture when it comes to buying a house. Watching Property Virgins show has been very educative to my spouse and I because we are novice. Be considered to be on the show will not only help us, the novice buyers, but will inspired others and educate them just as the show as does for us.

Thanks for allowing us to share our story on this site and we hope to hear from you soonest.

    Sincerely,
    Johnson Olowoyeye

  65. Sandra my husband Justin and I love your show and always day dream of having you help us when the time came to buy a home. The time for us is now. Hawaii has been home for about 4 years but it was just too expensive to buy in HI. We are a military family of 4. My husband and I are 28 and we have two beautiful children. Our new home will be in Colorado Springs, Co. Thinking about the commitment of buying a home is scary to me. We are very open minded because of the show but still a bit clueless to the proses. Having a husband in the Navy is very stressful at times. We would love having your expertise and skill to help make buying our first home a success. We know having you would make the home buying process exciting and fun. Are you willing to help us on our adventure? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Erika Franck

  66. I live in Canada right now with my husband and 1 year old daughter. We are looking to move into the Washington D.C. Metro area and need help in finding the right place. This is because living 10 hours away from D.C. makes it hard for us to find our first family home.

Sandra, we are hoping you will be able to help us find the perfect family home to raise our one year old daughter.

    Take care,
    Tami

  67. I am a first time home buyer, no boyfriend, no fiance, no husband. Just me….and I am interested in getting any free help I can! Plus maybe picking up a date along the way to help me have a house warming party! Should be a good time and very educating!

  68. i’ve been a huge fan of sandra and property virgins for a long time. my husband and i are starting to look for our first home. we currently live with my in-laws to save money for a down payment. we both work full time and my husband is in nursing school. we have a 2 year old daughter and want to our family to grow! we live in southeastern wisconsin , just shy of the illinois boarder. our price would probably be 180,000 budget. this would be an awesome opportunity for us, and would apprieciate all the help and knowledge that you can give a first time homebuyer.

  69. My Fiance and I are huge Sandra fans! We are currently living in Rhode Island, but property virgins (as far as we know) has never been here- and we are so close to CT!!!! Please come to RI and help us find our first home.

My fiance is from Utah and it’s difficult for him to see the value in homes in the RI area, because there is such a huge price difference. He would like a lot of land and that’s his #1. But most houses here have postage stamp size lawns. My #1 is having a house with character without the cookie cutter raised ranches that are common in RI suburbs.

We did put in an offer on one home, but were outbid and we have been upset since it happened and discouraged to continue our house hunt.

We currently are renting a 1 bedroom renovated loft space, but would like a place to call home before our August 2012 wedding!

Though we were pre-approved for almost 325k we think Our 225,000 budget in Rhode Island may be just the kind of challenge Sandra would be interested in! We also have other interesting aspects to our house hunt: ie my Fiance is a Veteran and we are looking for a possible VA loan or FHA which would be a great opportunity to speak about these/educate consumers on these loans on the show.

  70. My husband and I have been huge fans of Sandra’s since before we were husband and wife. We recently moved from NYC to Minneapolis to “settle down” and start a family. One of the biggest deciding factors to make the move was the cost of real estate – AKA we can afford it here! We’re currently in an apartment just outside of the city and are looking to purchase our first home in either South Minneapolis or a nearby suburb. We’re looking to spend around 300K and would be psyched to have Sandra’s expertise to help us find our first place!

  71. I have been teaching in New Orleans public schools since post-Katrina. Immediately, I have felt comfortable and have happily made New Orleans my home. However, there is one glitch. I have had a constant rotation of roommates, which each come with different lifestyles and personalities. I am exhausted from having so much change and chaos in my home! Since I work long hours and have “Mommy” responsibilities at work, I am in desperate need of stability! Since I cannot imagine having a life anywhere other than New Orleans, I believe I am ready to “take the plunge”. It’s time for me to get out of my college roommate days and have a place of my own to grow. And there is no one better to assist than Property Virgins, the professionals. I would be overjoyed to have your expertise in seeking my first “real” home!

    Sincerely,
    April

  72. I am recently divorced and am ready to buy my first home. Currently I rent a cute little house in Old Towne Orange CA and am tired of putting money, time and energy into something I will have to eventually leave behind. I have waited and waited, browsed hundreds of listings and photos, then when I find something realistic and to my liking it seems like something always happens to stop me (1st it was the wedding then it was the divorce LOL). I have decided that if I keep waiting I will never own anything. I work 24/7 and want soemthing to show for it. I am hoping with a little help from Sandra and HGTV I can finally find my first home.

Waiting patiently to hear from you (well kind of ;)),

    Jessica
