Disney Channel and XD Open Auditions
The chance of a lifetime has just arrived for lucky performers across the country. The Disney Channel and XD will be holding an official open casting call for all of you out there that would like to be considered for any current and future feature films, television programs or animated projects.
They will be on the lookout for new talented performers who are (or can appear) between the ages of 10 and 18. This is a general casting call and not held for any specific roles available rather you will put yourself on the radar for the network as a whole. If chosen from the audition process you could find yourself guest starring on such hits as Austin & Ally, A.N.T. Farm and Pair Of Kings, new series like Dog With A Blog and Code 9 or upcoming Films like Teen Beach Musical. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your big break in the hugely successful entertainment universe.
This open casting call is hands down the best chance for those of you not in the Los Angeles area to meet with Disney talent scouts and make yourself and your talents known for all future productions. At an open call just like this held in 2004 Selena Gomez was discovered and began her path to stardom. This is one of maybe two chances that you will have this year to audition in front of actual Disney talent scouts and casting directors and make your impression on the Disney decision makers. This will be a one day casting call held at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City Missouri at 9AM on Saturday May 26, 2012. There is no fee for this process, but be aware that many, many performers will be in attendance so there may be long wait for your audition. To help you be one of the first performers seen you should be sure to be at the location as soon as possible and be sure to go here tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/opencall/ to download and complete the application and bring it with you to the event. The material for you to read for the audition will be provided when you arrive and the entire performance time will be about a minute so make your moment count!
