Oblivion Starring Tom Cruise
Hot on the heels of one of his biggest hits ever, Tom Cruise is heading back to the big screen in the science fiction adventure Oblivion. This may be the biggest film of 2013 and you have the opportunity to be a part of the magic. Casting calls are beginning soon for roles of all sizes.
Oblivion will be directed by TRON:Legacy’s Joseph Kosinski and will tell the story of a future Earth with it’s surface destroyed by radiation and now overrun with a scavenging and blood-thirsty alien race. Humans are forced to live in the clouds above, far from the chaos below. Tom Cruise will play Jack, a repairman sent down to the dangerous land to fix a damaged surface drone. Jack soon discovers a woman who has crash landed in a pod and the truth about what is going on underneath the clouds. This project is definitely in the vein of Cruises 2002 smash sci-fi hit Minority Report and therefore safely in his far reaching wheelhouse. This is one of the biggest tent pole films of 2013 and will be heavily marketed the world over. This is a huge opportunity for up and coming actors to make a huge splash in the film community by being involved in a $100+ dollar feature film production. Casting calls for actors of all ages for parts of all sizes including day players, stand-ins and extras will be starting very soon.
