The season opener of the hit NBC series Chicago Fire is getting ready to begin filming. The show is heading into its fifth season and casting directors are looking for kids and young teens for a scene in the first episode of the new season.  The show films in the Chicago area, so all kids who would like to be in the show should be local.

“Chicago Fire” is described by NBC as “an edge-of-your-seat view into the lives of everyday heroes committed to one of America’s noblest professions. For the firefighters, Rescue Squad and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51, no occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating. These courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death”.

The casting team is seeking kids of all ethnicities who are ages 11 to 14 years old for the one day scene. It will shoot sometime around July 20th, but could be anytime in the next ten days. They will be casting around 40 kids so this should be a cool scene for kids to be a part of! If your child is available, they will need to have a work permit if they don’t already.
