Want to work with Academy Award winning actor Forest Whitaker? He is starring in the upcoming movie Finding Steve McQueen and casting directors are now seeking paid extras for the movie. Finding Steve McQueen, a heist film based on the true story of the biggest bank heist in U.S. history. The movie follows the story of a gang of close-knit thieves from Youngstown, Ohio who, in election year 1972, attempt to steal $30 million in illegal contributions and blackmail money from President Richard Nixon’s secret fund. Starring in the movie are Forest Whitaker, Kate Bosworth and Travis Fimmel.

CAB Castings is seeking Atlanta, Georgia locals to be background extras in the film. Shooting will be from September through October. The casting team is seeking all types of extras for a variety of scenes, however they are seeking very specific looks. Because the film is a period piece that takes place in the 1970’s, all actors who would like to be considered must match the roles they are seeking to fill.

Some of the roles they are looking to cast are for hippie college and young adult types who have a 70’s vibe, FBI Agents, City people and restaurant patrons and more. The casting team and producers will be selected extras from photos, so be sure to send in everything that is requested with photos that are of quality and appropriate. Call times for the shoot days will be determined closer to the actual workday. Workdays will last from 10 to 12hrs depending on the scenes in which you are shooting for. With that being said, if asked to work, you will be expected to have open availability for a full 12hr day! The rate for extras on this production is $75/8hr, which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail. After 8hrs it will be time and a half.
