Gordan Ramsay’s fantastic cooking competition series ‘Masterchef’ is returning for a 3rd exciting season and auditions are starting soon!  This is the cook-off show for the every man – no professional chefs allowed! Anyone with a passion for food can battle it out for a $250,000 grand prize. Auditions will be held in Miami, Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Savannah, Austin, Chicago, New York, Seattle and San Francisco.

The intense and acerbic creator/star of the wildly popular ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ and ‘Kitchen Nightmares’  Gordon Ramsay and FOX are looking for people just like you to compete for fame and fortune. Masterchef is looking for people with a love of cooking, a will to compete and the passion to win and become this season’s champion.     hi my name is adriana I'm 26 years old I'm employed and I'm going to school for business. I have been cooking since I was very little and i am infatuated with cooking shows and competitions. I am always challenging my cooking skills and coming up with some crazy tasting creation from random food items. My fiance and friends get a kick out of me cooking up a storm and say my food is amazing and they are the ones that gave me the idea to possibly try out for the show… The money is a great bonus but honestly i have a bucket list and one of the things to do on my list is to be on a tv show doing something i love and well shows like Jersey Shore show just don't cut it because im not much of a party girl :)…. I'm no chef im just your average Puerto Rican woman with the love and passion from cooking that my grandma passed to me. May you please email me the qualifications to try out for the show.

    Just like most of the applicants here, I have had a passion for cooking for a large portion of my life. I am an infantryman in the Army, and spend most of my spare time in the kitchen at home with my children. Occasionally I use recipes, but 90% of the time I see what I have to work with, and create from there. I really hope to get accepted onto the show to improve my skills and prove my passion and innovation in the kitchen. My goal is to improve, retire from the military in 6 yrs, and hopefully open a resteraunt of my own back home in Montana some day. That is my ultimate dream.     My name is Emily and I live in Santa Rosa. I have always wanted to tryout for a cooking show. I submitted a questionnaire to Top Chef but feel that I wasn't picked because I am not classically trained and because I am not an actual working Chef.

    My family critiques me almost every night I cook. Sometimes they jokingly tell me to pack my knives and leave. I love to cook, I love cookbooks and experiment as much as I can without making the food too "out there". I try to make healthy food for my family and use good ingredients.

    I also love desserts and make a killer cheesecake and carrot cake AND a chocolate cake.

    My dream is to open my own place. A small wine/beer bistro that serves up delicious, locally grown salads, desserts sandwiches and soups. I would call it SWEET LIFE. If I could make it onto this show and WIN!!!! I could make my dream come true. MAybe Gordon could give me some advice too.

Have had several careers & vocations, but never followed an obvious passion for food, cooking & studying cultural/ethnic cuisines from around the world…which has now become more an obsession than a hobby. No training. No technique. {Ramsay will have a field day with me} But I know how to take ANY combination of products and make them tasty.

I mostly enjoy being able to make people want to eat my foods. Most of my friends have told me I should try out for a cooking show so I decided what the heck lets go for it.     Since I was a little kid; the the strongest memories for me are in my families kitchen. This was the place my family came to dinner, every night. The place where we talked about our day. The place where we would laugh, cry and talk about anything under the sun. This place is what truly gave me my love of cooking. The knowledge that the food being prepared would bring people together and build stronger memories than any picture could. I've been cooking since I was 5 years old and have never waned in my passion for it.
    Living it Salt lake city, Utah. There aren't many opportunities for those who have this passion to follow their dream. Due to the economy my family has suffered greatly. With profits of my fathers business taking a 180 degree turn since the recession start. I am hoping to be considered for this opportunity to create a better life for my family, and take care of my parents who did their very best raising me.
    Again growing up I've never been able to afford a college education. So I follow my passion for cooking through reading. I learn new techniques and methods solely from books that I have read. I do this, solely because, I love to cook. I love to learn. And I have a passion for cooking that will never stop. I hope that I will be considered for position on the new season of MasterChef. I hope you producers will see my passion and give a small town kid, (who wont be able to afford to go to auditions for they are out of my means)a chance to follow his dreams, that otherwise would seem unattainable.     I've been cooking since I was a young girl. I made full dinners for my family & friends and they all enjoyed them and asked how did you do that? Guess what? They still do. Now I'm a grandmother and my passion for cooking hasn't ceased one bit. Its become my comfort and I do it oh so well. I watch the show and I judge as well and I think I can do better than some of the self proclaimed chefs that I've seen. Gordan Ramsey and I need to talk about the potty mouth but as for the food, I can stand up against some of the competitors without a doubt. I wan to open a personal chef/catering business and would love it if I was selected to go to culinary scool. I've looked into it but cant afford it. It would be truly a blessing!

    The passion I have for cooking was not discovered until I was older. I did not grow up with any real background or teaching. My mother was single, and did not really enjoy cooking all that much.
    Ive worked many food jobs throughout my life, and also cooking for my own children and family when I grew up and married.
    My real passion for cooking came when I got a kitchen prep job in a community college, and I cannot seem to get enough of it now.
    I am single, with one daughter at home and I cannot stop cooking now, at work or at home, it is my passion for life. I have pretty much totally given up everything to cook for a living, moved away from home to go to culinary school.
    I want to excell as much as I can, my goal is to someday open a restaurant, and help feed homeless/hungry people, as I grew up poor myself. Fame is great, but fortune will help me build my dream. Im tough in any kitchen, I know I could be a great competitor..

    It all started before leaving home to go to college. I was absolutely terrified that I would die if I did not have my mothers cooking everyday. She use to reuse those old microwavable dinner plates and freeze her home cooked meals in them and when I came home once a month I would get loaded up. I spent almost 4 years during plus the past 22 refining her southern style cooking. My job after school allowed me to travel over 20 states for weeks at a time. Always ate the local mom and pop restaurants looking for ideas, different combinations and alternative ways to add flair to Southern American cooking. Today they all tell me to open a restaurant. I tell them I don't like to work that hard. Unique alternative southern taste with a passion for making dinner guests sweat a little and keep on eating

    I think I should be a part of the masterchef show because I have expirence cooking. I was a cook in the navy on the submarine. We had won several awards which allowed us to go culinary and baking school. Our cooking team had won the best small boat competition several years in a row. I enjoyed cooking very much.

    My son is 40 years old and cooking is not only his passion,it is in his blood and he has been cooking since he was 10 years old. He attended the BICC in Baltimore MD and has been an Executive Chef for about 10 years. It would be absolutely wonderful if he were given the opportunity to enter, the possibility to win.

    We live in the DC area and I know that he would love the chance. My question is….. could the possibility be there for him to enter??

Everyone in my family, as well as, friends love my cooking and come to my home every sunday to eat, and sometimes during the week.     So how bad would I love to make my biggest dream come true.Soooooo bad I attended le cordon bleu in Olando,Fl but my dream was cut short when my 2 year old little girl got fataly sick.So I dropped out to take care of her full time and moved to Tx for her treatment.Now 2 years later she is doing well and fully recoved so there are no regrets for the choses I made at that time.It is my ultimate dream to show my skills on my fav show of all time.I am the strongest person I know nothing was ever given to me my I have busted my ass for everything me and my kids have.and I have the passion,patience,and love for culinary to be a great one day.bring it on I am always ready;)

    One of my goals from my childhood was to become a chef, or some how work in the industry. Over the years The dream is starting to become a reality by attending culinary school, making out the entire menu for my family, and being the cook at my house, enjoyed last season and honestly believe i could keep up with the challenges.
