The hardest working man in movies, Nicolas Cage, is set to get at it again with an all new post-apocalyptic thriller and now the search is on for several actors of all ages to fill a number of exciting roles in this fantastic new feature film. Left Behind starring Cage and Ashley Tisdale will begin production soon and the producers and casting directors for this fascinating sci-fi adventure will be holding auditions very soon. This could be your shot at landing a part in the latest blockbuster for the Oscar winning fan favorite Cage.
Left Behind is based on the first in a series of books of the same name by best selling authors Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye that detail the story of a group of people remaining on earth after The Rapture that has taken all people of christian faith. Mr. Cage (Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation, The Rock) will star as Ray Steele, one of those “Left Behind” who start The Tribulation Force, a group of brave people searching for answers and helping to save the lost for the eventual return of God and his judgement of those still on Earth. This heady and action packed feature will be helmed by Vic Armstrong who has been involved in such epic hits as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and The Amazing Spider-Man. Armstrong has compiled an impressive cast for his second feature thus far including Disney queen Tisdale (High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Phineas and Ferb), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill, A Cinderella Story, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia), Tia Mowry-Hardrict (The Game, Sister, Sister, The Mistle-Tones) and Martin Klebba (Oz the Great and Powerful, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Scrubs).
