Hulu has ordered two seasons of the new show “Chance”. Former “House” star Hugh Laurie will star in the show. Casting directors are seeking extras to film on July 13th for two scenes and general extras of various roles to film between July 14th and July 27th. Beau Bonneau Casting is looking for men and women who are ages 18 and older that are local to San Francisco, California. They are seeking all types of people to portray people with cars, café/bar patrons, baristas, servers, business and courthouse types, hipsters, hospital staff, police, pedestrians and more
According to Deadline, the series is “Based on Nunn’s novel, Chance is described as a provocative psychological thriller that focuses on Eldon Chance (Laurie), a San Francisco-based forensic neuropsychiatrist who reluctantly gets sucked into a violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption and mental illness. After an ill-advised decision regarding an alluring patient who may or may not be struggling with a multiple personality disorder, Chance finds himself in the crosshairs of her abusive spouse, who also happens to be a ruthless police detective. In over his head, Chance’s decent into the city’s shadowy underbelly, all while navigating the waters of a contentious divorce and the tribulations of his teenage daughter, soon spirals into an ever deepening exploration of one of mankind’s final frontiers — the shadowy, undiscovered country of the human mind”.
Background roles range from Pedestrians, People with Cars (basic & high end, no red/white), Cafe/Bar Patrons, Baristas, Servers, Business and Courthouse types, Hipsters, Hospital Staff, Police & Detectives to Thugs and Down-and-Out Types. We’ll definitely need Pedestrians & People with everyday Cars, clean cut types to portray Police Officers/Detectives and people willing to portray gritty character roles, i.e. Homeless, Prostitutes, etc. Please check your calendar before submitting! We may not post all dates, some days have no extras etc, so include more than 1 avail date if possible, but only realistic future avail for dates you already know are free ALL DAY!
