Want to join Meredith, Alex, Miranda and the rest of the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital staff as they work tirelessly to save the lives of Seattle residents? The hit ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy” is now filming its thirteen season and casting directors are holding auditions for background actors to film throughout the season. “Grey’s Anatomy” films in the Los Angeles, California area so the team is seeking people who are local to L.A.

ABC describes their two-time Golden Globe winning show as following, The doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as they deal with life-or-death consequences on a daily basis-it’s in one another that they find comfort, friendship and, at times, more than friendship. Together they’re discovering that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey. Starring the show are Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres and Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt.

Jeff Olan Casting is holding an open call for men and women who are interested in being extras on the show. They are seeking people who are ages 18 and over and of African American, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern and Latin descent. Auditions are being held on Monday, August 8th from 10am to 2pm. Those who would like to attend the open call audition should call 818-377-4475 for more information.  Proper identification must be brought by anyone who attends the auditions. Attendees must be legally able to work in the United States. Background actors for the show are always paid.
