  2. Hi my name is Isabelle. I am 38 yrs old and a mother of 3. I am writing and applying for myself because I think your show would be an answer to my families prayers! My husband is a very hard worker and leaves from Sunday-Saturday trucking to be able to support our family. He finds it very hard being away from home because of my health and the worst part is he doesn't even make that much but because of the health coverage we get he can't afford to change jobs since my medicine runs at least 69000$ per year. I have Crohn's disease, diabetes and spondylitis . My back has gotten very bad over the last few years and all medicines I've tried so far don't seem to be working. I have tried to keep working because our family needs the income and I didn't want to add the extra weight on my husbands shoulders. Last month the doctor told me I need to stop because my back is just too bad and it is too physically painful for me. I am on morphine patches and ixycodine for pain. I have a 15 year old daughter who have had to sacrifice a lot to help me with her 7 year old sister and who has learnt to be very responsible at a very young age. My kids have to get dishes and pit and pans out for me whever I have to cook because I can no longer bend, my 7 year old has to empty dryer for me and help me fold clothes. They have to help me walk on bad days and sometimes help me get my socks or shoes on. I know they do it because they love me and it's good for kids to help out but they worry often about me and our finances. I can no longer function well in my house the way it's set up and am waiting to see because my doctor has had me apply for disability. My youngest daughter had epilepsy when she was younger until age 6. My 15 year old is very smart and works very hard at school. She would like to find a job to be able to set aside money for medical school but she is stuck helping me at home. She has been in honor role all through high school so far. Please help our family and help my husband who is working so hard and is broken because he has to be away from his family when we need him. And help me be able to keep some dignity as I get worse. I don't want my 15 and 7 year old to have to help me take baths etc. I have seen you help so many families and your show would be our answer to prayer. My mother and father have tried to help us but they are also having difficulties and getting older it's too much for them to take on. Thank you for you consideration!

  4. My name is Hillary and I am a student at Colorado State University. I am the house manager for a student organization, Hillel. Hillel is a non-denominational Jewish center for students. We have a house with two levels, first floor and basement. We are a kosher home so we have a dairy kitchen upstairs and a meat kitchen downstairs. We have two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The house was built in 1998 and has not had much renovation since. The home has an old feel and we really want to give it a new young feel to attract more students to events and to make the house a home away from home. Thank you, Hillary.

  5. I have two girls and love them so much and I am married.my mom and dad gave us this home and it is falling down I have alot of health problems and my lungs are the worst. And the house is getting mold and stuff like that and making it harder to breath and I am on a fixed income and I barley can pay my bills and still have to Barrow a little bit off my mom and dad so I have a hard time trying to fix it up when I can't pay a contractors to fix it. And if I had one wish I would wish for a new or my home fixed that way I know my kids would not be ashamed of our home or me I try my best but some times kids don't understand and that would be a dream come true if they would pull up and tell me that they was working on our home. I have just lost my grandma and my brothers girl friend passed away and I had just got out of the hospital the day my grandma passed away. And I would stay with my grandma to help take care of her my mom had a Hart att and I had to try to help her so she would not over do it and loose her to thanks and love the show you have made alot of ppl have a better life and made them rich in there owne world but what I have I am tankful for it but I seen this and sead I would give it a chance and make my wishe and I hope and pray it will come true.thanks Jason

  6. I am submitting this application on behalf of my oldest sister, who is an amazing mother, sister, wife, and friend. She has been such a great support in my life and both her and her husband work to give their children the best life possible. Thanks to their hard work they have been remodeling their home little by little in the past 6 yars but I would really like to help them out with maybe the bathrooms, kids play area since they added a second baby or organizing their garage. It may not seem like big changes but I could never repay all that she has done for me, so I thought this could at least be an amazing gesture to improve their home. Thank you.

  7. 9. hi I am Savannah and I am 14 years old and I was really hoping for a home makeover in my home because we live in a small house right now I'm currently in foster care and probably planning on staying here till im 18 and my foster mom she's really old and it's really hard for her to come up and down the stairs everyday and it's just really tough on her and sitting down because she only sits in one chair cause that's the only chair that she can easily get out of and I feel really bad for her because she can't enjoy any other part of our home so I was really hoping you can come and redo our home and make it really easy for her to walk up and down the stairs or have something better for her because she means a lot to me and even though I've been with her for a little while I still feel that I'm part of her and I feel like it would really help her knowing that she can live in a good home cause our home right now is kind of old and the stairs creak really bad and everything you know it feels like we're just going to end up falling through the stairs and stuff so and that's what I'm really scared of that one day that the stairs might give out or a certain part of our home might give out because when we step on this one part of the house upstairs it caves in a little bit so I'm really concerned about that and I just really want the best for her right now and feel comfortable in our own home and everything but I know you get many of these every day and that the chances of me getting chosen is kind of unlikely but I'm hoping that the story that I'm saying will help inspire it because I really want the best for her and it's sad to see her sitting on the chair because her knees are really bad her hips are bad and she cant sit on the couch because it is to low to sit in and she can't get out of it and I just feel like she really needs to be able to sit in places and feel good. Itd be nice to have our bathroom done because our toilets don't really work so it'd be nice to have our bathroom done and we don't really have a laundry place our washer our dryer and stuff is in a hallway but its gets really cold too I mean we don't have really good insulation and nothing so I would really like if we can get some good insulation here and be able to keep the house warm because in the winter I go downstairs because it's too cold upstairs and sometimes it's cold downstairs too so I'm really hoping that one of the guys see the story and help us out because that would mean so much to me and her and also itd be really nice to the family that comes over to. itd be really nice to them and that's basically it but if I get chosen that will be really really really amazing and out of this world that be amazing but like I said I'll just wait and hopefully I will get something saying that we got it and my foster mom doesn't know I'm doing this and I wanted to be a surprise to her and she's always saying how she would like the house to be bigger or Bright or whatever and I feel like she'd be really really happy if you guys just came and knocked on the door and said we're giving you a house makeover i mean that would be just amazing for her but that's my story and I really hope you guys can get this story and thank you so much and have a blessed day

  10. Hello Ty and the Extreeme makeover team,
I am writting on behalf of my sister Lynetta Coleman whom is in desperate need of your assistance. My sister is a very gifted young woman. She has expierence in archetecture, crapentry, art, seamstress and more. In 2010 her husband became sevierely ill with cancer caused by Mesophelioma asbestos exposure, causing her to resort to workimg out of the house and focusing on her art and sweing to make ends meet. In the mist of her diong that her husband lost the battle he was fighting with cancer and a week after that her eldest son was diagnosed with Paranoid Bipolar Schizophrenia and if that wasnt heavy enough emotionally, our eldest sister Jacqui who was recovering from a stroke and residing with Lynetta from North Carolina, had a massive stroke, this time leaving her totally incapacitated. With that Lynetta was on the brink of an emotional collaspe, my sister Rachell came down from Idaho to be the caregiver to our sister Jacqui. Even with that Lynetta felt like her mental being was fragile and in need of a complete change in order to survive. Everything here in California was drowning her so she decided to move to Fayette ville Arkansas to start her life anew. Being an archetict Lynetta purchased a home that was under construction with the entent of doing the repiars and improvements herself. Well she soon learned that the funds that she was expecting from the passing of her husband and their profits from liquidating the assets were seized for back taxes and were not available to her. She had already used her savings on the move and purshase so with no income or savings, Lynetta sought employment to take care of to household finances. But that leaves no time or money to do the major comlpetetions that so desprately need to be finished. The elements are harsh in Arkansas. The heat in the summer and the cold in the winter are a major concern to us all. The house has unfinished walls and the majority of the upper level has not been completed so, the house has been envaded by ladybugs, scorpions and locusts to name a few. Birds fly down the fire place. Ty… Lynetta really, really could use your help. Even if you dont choose her for the main makeover I have watched your shows in the past and saw how you have helped someone who needed help in the vecinity of another project. Even if you can help her finish the upstairs so the outdoor elements stay out doors and she can stay safe and secure throughout the seasons , I would greatly appreciate it. So Ty and the Extreem home makeover team, "Please" consider helping my sissy. When you meet her you will love her. She is an amazing person, and equally deserving of this blessing. Thanking you in advance for this opportunity to share a piece of my sissy's story.

    Respectfully,

    Olivia Smith

  12. I live in the inner city of Milwaukee. I am a mother of 4 and my home is falling apart we tried to move out of town to get a better environment that didn't work out for us. I own my home the home I own is in need of a lot of help my roof is nearly off my house every time it rain in snow I have major leaks throughout my ceilings my walls have got so weak my son put his hand on it and it literally caved in. I have holes throughout the floors and mildew and broken windows just recently my children where home and someone tried to knock so hard on our door that they literally torn the whole foundation down off our front door now we have to lock with putting knives or other items to the door to support the safety of it. I want to keep my house but it is falling apart, I tried to reach out for help through my city but I don't qualify for any of the programs. My daughter has bronchitis and has a hard time breathing because of the mildew fumes through out the home. The holes around the foundation have got so big we have tons of mice running throughout the home. We currently had to throw away most of our belongings due to bed bugs in all types of other pestilences that invaded our home. My home is being cited for tons of violations every month due it not being in compliance to the city codes. I am writing because we are in desperate need of help and hope that you will contact us to help us regain a better environment to live in. I have not to long ago graduated from college and trying very hard to gain a career that can help support me and my children. This is our only result because we have no where else to go only thing we can do is continue to seek help and do the best we can to survive in our predicament. Thank you and hope we will soon here from Extreme Makeovers

  13. Hello Guys,
I have been thinking about writing you for a long while. I have worked with people from all walks of life as a medical social worker. There were times I have found myself in some very upsetting situations environmentally. Some have resulted in nursing home placements and others received help to continue in their homes with help. Not all of them wound up being success stories but did come out in better situations with the help of various services in the community.
Now I find myself writing asking for help with improving the living condition of my aged parents, whom I kind of consider to be thriving fairly well with the given medical conditions they have. Dad a veteran worked at the local V.A for over 30 years, and while at work, had a stroke to the brain stem over 25 years ago one year before he planned to retire. Since the stroke, lately we see downhill spirals regularly. Mom cares for him daily and it is stressful as she hobbles along during her daily activities. Sometimes she finds it hard to get out of bed. She has always been the caregiver the family now suffering from arthritis of the spine, hip, shoulder dislocation, broken nose and hand, back, ankle' diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. In the mist of all this she continue to provide care for her mother, sister, brother; brother in-law and son who are alcoholics.
My sister lives near has been very attentive through most of these hard times. She herself had knee surgery and has not been able to resume normal activity as before. sometimes she walks with a cane. But she is always there to help. My brother lived with them for a while and was very helpful. He was picking daddy off the floor who is 6ft 2 inches tall and weighs 260-280 pounds, and washed his clothes when he was incontinent of bowels, etc. He also prepared meals and was a bit of a handy man. But things got stressful.
I live in another city and caring for 5 sometimes 6 grandchildren. My husband has medical problems and a stroke victim himself. We have tried to make their home livable. the problem like a lot of people…no money, energy or time.
I am writing to ask for a little help. I also know there are others with greater needs. Their gross income is 1700.00 monthly.
They need the kitchen floor replaced, to make it more accessible for bathing and toileting, etc. Mold is growing in the downstairs bathroom under the shower tile. We tried but as I said my husband has medical issues and lacks the energy. The ceiling towel in the basement needs replacing and leaks under the kitchen sink had destroyed the downstairs wall and some of the ceiling.
They sleep in separate bedrooms and because of some of the handicap equipment thy use–it is difficult for them to get around.
The gutter was blown down on the back deck and my brother tacked it back up. The front porch is cracked in several places making it hard to walk across to enter the house. The driveway is broken up with crater size holes…During the summer months the air condition unit works part of the time. If I may go back to the kitchen. Because of the arthritis and broken hand cooking is difficult. I must say her appliance are as old as the housed (45 years) or close to it. There is just so much that needs to be fixed.
So, I am asking sincerely from my heart if you would assist my parents with this gift. Dad is 82 in March and Mother will be 80 in June.
When we came here from Alabama, as an extended family, in 1953 my mom a single mother with three children, met Daddy and they fell in love. He is the greatest father any child could ever ask for. He is God sent. He use to pick us up take us to the hospital where she worked and surprise her as we picnic on the hospital ground. They both worked very hard to make sure our needs were met. Before mother met him she would walk 7-8 miles to work and back in the rain, hail, sleet and snow with ballerina shoes on and a thin coat. She went without to make sure we had. We love them both.
Please help us to just enhance there lives a little more. Not long ago daddy said to me Carolyn I don't have anything to dream for. I said, Daddy then dream for someone else. Dream for me, your grandchildren. I don't want him to give up.
Recently we all got together and gave them our furniture for different parts of the house. Dad said to me, "Makes you feel like living here." If I was not for his encouragement I would not have gone to college My siblings went to the arm forces and mother just went to the eleventh grade. She not even eligible for disability or social security.
After all these years (retired) and drawing early retirement daddy still keeps encouraging me to get my doctorates. One day I will finish and will have them to thank and others.
Please help make this happen so they can enjoy the season they are in. As the saying goes… smell the roses while they live.

Sincerely Thank You In Christ Jesus.

    Cee

Yes, and you all do a wonderful job of giving folks there lives back. Thank You for that.

  15. Hi my name is Chasity I live with my fiancé and our daughter who is a year old as of the beginning of February. There are many people who need a new home more than but a new house would be a blessing to us as to many others. My fiancé has been our little families income since day one but with him getting laid off it is making things difficult. Our house needs a lot of work and we just don't have the money to do so. Half of our electric in the house does not work and we get shocked by certain things in the house like my fridge handle if my hands are wet, the shower head, the bath knobs and the sink. Since we have lived here I have yet been able to cook in a lit kitchen do to no working lights. The lights in the living room do not work and most the outlets don't either. One of our outlets we have to keep a close eye on because it has sparked a few times. We have a few holes in our floor and our kitchen floor has become weak and could fall threw anytime. I'm not wanting anything big or fancy just something safe to raise our daughter in and not have to constantly wonder if our house is going to catch on fire. Thank you for taking the time to read. And God bless

  16. Hello, I would like to audition for the home makeover. I own a duplex and I live in the smaller of the two with my husband and two young children (7 and 5). My parents live in the 2nd home. We are currently selling our home because my dad is not able to pay his half of the mortgage and is not able to repair his home. He deserves the best because he gave us his best all his life an still does.

  20. This is Talena, she is a mother of 3 children. During the month of February 2014 a tragedy changed her life as well as those who love her. On this morning her children were already at school but while she was at her parents home alone her husband came there and shot her multiple times then killed himself. One of the gun shots was to her head and she was life flighted to Grady hospital where she remained for a long while. God was with her that morning and spared her life, she since has continued healing and received therapy at Shepherds Pain and Spinal clinic. Talena has come so far and works so hard toward regaining her independence . Her goal is to walk by December. And after several major surgeries , she still needs some surgery that the insurance considers to be cosmetic. We the people that know and love Talena consider it part of her healing and pray it comes to light. She and her kids need their own space now, so she can have her independence to prosper and raise them the way they know and are used to.

  21. Hi my name is mrs abigirl harrison and i live in zimbabwe i watch your show on tlc and thought maybe you can help me renovate my house which was gutted by fire i was not compesated and am now homeless am 51 a widow with 3kids plse help

  22. We all have a story to tell. Though mine may not seem so devastating to some; for us it was something we have yet to recover from. In October 2002 our mobile home caught fire. We had no insurance, no money and 4 kids. The only things remaining were a Bible, a GI Joe figurine and a shell of what used to be our home. We gutted one room at a time and the 6 of us lived like modern day pioneers for nearly two years. Redoing the inside ourselves one paycheck at a time. The struggle has been exhausting financially and the house still remains incomplete. I suffered a breakdown in 2010 reliving childhood rape and confronting the man responsible. then I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2011. It's been one disaster after another and would love to win this for my husband who has carried us through it all with his hard work and perseverance. He deserves a break. Thank You

  23. My name is Amanda and I am a 27 yr old mother of two. My boyfriend works 80s a week to provide for us, which is double what most people work in a week. He works so hard and is always exhausted. He bought us a home when my first child was due. We were unfortunate in the home we received. All the faults of our home were painted over and covered up. We are living in a home full of mold, leaking roof, and corroded chimney. We are overwhelmed trying to find ways to afford fixing our home just so it is modestly livable. We don't have any out of our means expenses like TV cable, or high speed internet. I recently seen an episode on CSI on how mold can cause brain damage by poisoning the blood that feeds the brain. I seen a family like mine diminish from mold, something our house is full. I have researched ways of killing mold only to find that bleech doesn't kill mold just bleechs the color of it. Now I am in panic. I would hate to see my kids life taken from them. I would just like a safe home.
Thank you for all who read this

  24. Jackie Langford McDonald and her husband Jay and 6 family members lost their entire home due to a house fire last night in Alvin Texas. Jay is a paraplegic and confined to a wheelchair. They have no home owners insurance. Jay kept going up the ramp trying to salvage things from their home. Jordan McDonald is a student athlete at Alvin High School and plays softball for the Yellow Jackets. Our community is rallying behind them with donations and cash, but what they really need is a new home on their site of land. These people go out of their way to make the most for themselves and their kids. They are really good people who are in need. PLEASE HELP US.

  25. I am writing on behalf of my father. His home is not in the best living conditions for his heart. My mother is helping but has help issues also. They need a place they can move safely around.

  26. I was recently trying to buy a house. It's a 6,500 sqft mansion built in 1869. It has massive floor to ceiling curved windows and beautiful bay windows! It's also a five minute walk to the waterfront from the house. It was being sold for almost nothing because it needs work. However, thank goodness my contractor realized what the real catch to the property was before I bought it! Powder Post beetles had completely eaten through the entire house! As I was standing in the basement of my future home, my contractor began poking the main support beams with a screwdriver. Sawdust started pouring out of them! Every major support beam was completely hollow on the inside because the beetles had eaten through all of them in the basement, first floor and second floor! I was sick. Later that week we called in a home inspector for a second opinion. He stated that these beetles had most likely been in the wood since the house was built. In other words, this house was doomed the moment it was built! It's still standing only because it was made of brick. I was prepared to do cosmetic work to the house, but not $80,000 worth of repair work just to replace all the support beams, and then still not be able to live there! This house needs to be saved because it is absolutely gorgeous, and I would love to be able to tell the owner that I am buying her house but I can't do it without help! This house was one of the first built in the area and it would be tragic to let it fall down because they don't make homes like this anymore!

  34. Hello and God bless you all for what you do!

In November 1986 my parents gave birth to my little brother. In February 1987 my father was injuired. The Doctors said he would never walk again. My mother was only making about $120 a week. She now had 3 kids and a disabled husband to take care of. I,being the oldest, went to work to help out. Eventually quitting school to work more. My fathers determination and my mothers endless praying, he was able to get up and in a wheel chair. Within six months he was walking on crutches, and eventually putting them down.

As my little brother grew we noticed his developing skills were not the same nor where they should be. Countless doctors could not explain what was wrong with him. Again my mom hit her knees and asked God for guidance. They found a doctor that diagnosed him as Fragile X.

My father spent 24 years of his life volunteering for this county, He was assistant Chief in the rescue squad, Director in Emergency Management, without pay.

In 2009 my mother lost her job, they lost their home and was forced to move back into the house that was built in 1980 by an unskilled crew. The foundation is busted loose, ceiling is falling, the floors are un even, the front wall is separated, and there is always plumbing issues and still living on a very low income.

This is a God fearing family that needs help, please and thank you.

  35. I am getting married in May 2016. I am writing to be a part of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Our story is simple. We are just getting started on our careers. Both of us are from small towns – Im from Kansas City & my fiance is from Canton, MI. We are both used to square footage and larger living spaces. Transitioning from the midwest to figure out how to accomodate and consolidate to fit into a 2 bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms in NYC has been a challenge. I love the apartment as it feels cozy but the living space badly needs a makeover so we can make it charming. We need the place to be ready to go to start a family. I have so many ideas and need help and inspiration transcending the small space in to a functional chic design home –dreaming to elevate to new modern boundaries.

  36. Hello I am writing to beg to be a part of your show. My house is over 100 years old and it is literally falling to pieces. It has been in our family for over 35 years. My aunt bought the home for my grandmother 35 years ago. My mother moved in also about 30 years ago. My aunt passed away in 2009, a year later in 2010 my mother passed away. My children I then moved in with my grandmother so that she wouldn't be alone. During the time in between my aunt and mother passing my aunt's husband became depress and no longer wanted the home, so I secured a loan to take over the payments. Well shortly after I soon found out what is to become a homeowner. Needless to say I have refinance to get this fixed and that fixed and this fixed and that fixed. I wished someone had schooled me ten years ago to just do a major over haul, because the house is still falling apart and I can no longer afford to refinance to get what needs to be done. My husband also passed away, so I am a single mother putting two children through college. The student loans that I have for my daughter are already over $100,000, so banks won't even let me refinance. On top of all of this someone keeps breaking into my home and I can't even afford to get a security system. So if you come to Washington, DC I humbly beg you of your for assistance of an Extreme Home Makeover.

  37. Since 2012 we've bought and sold two homes and lived at four different addresses! My husband has been through some big job changes in the last two years that has forced us to move across the country away from all of our family and friends. We also have an investment property in Arizona that has put some major financial strain on our family over the years and has contributed to our debt. We purchased our current home almost one year ago because we were desperate to get out of renting AGAIN! Realizing what we could afford here in the northeast, compared to back home in Texas was a big disappointment. The older home we settled on here in Pittsburgh has a lot of charm, but it's got an endless list of upgrades that need to be done. I can sum it all up by telling you that the full bath upstairs has had a leaky faucet for ten months now. Unfortunately, we aren't very handy, and even YouTube isn't much of a help in that department. Lol. I think I would need a brain transplant just to figure out how to change a lightbulb. Bottom line is, we love our new hometown, but we are not loving our new house, and we can't even see a light at the end of the tunnel as to when we could even afford to begin any renovations. The void we felt in our hearts from leaving our family behind has definitely been filled here in The Burgh, and now we just need a practical space in which to call home. I know my husband, above anyone, deserves this for how hard he has worked to support our family!

  38. Hello Extreme Make over. My little family had hit a rough patch over the course of two years my husband has suffer two extreme losses and is on the vurg of another. While not as big as the other two I know how much it's hurting him. We are currently living in his childhood home and we love it here. And all our friends and family love this house. Built by his grandfather for his grandmother. We've recently lost this grandmother and as the trust is written we are going to have to move unless we get a miracle. It being and old house it needs a lot of work and upgrades we can't really afford. With no other options a side from moving. I turn to you and hope you find our stoy worth a look. Sincerely Mrs.Toler

  39. Hello, my name is Lynsy and I'm representing the Sindelar and Flyr family. We have 4 people living in this house, myself, my parents, and my grandmother who is going to be 83 years old. The house we currently live in is 47 years old, but needs A LOT of work done. Since it was built we have remodeled the bathroom, kitchen and part of the basement. Including the basement there are 4 rooms. The house has become so run down and needs so many repairs that we just can't afford to fix. My Nana has a home daycare that she has had for many years . During the day she puts each baby/young child that requires a crib in each of the 3 upstairs bedrooms. Minus the front and back doors, each door is busted, unable to lock or gets stuck if you close it all the way, some outlets don't work and need to be repaired, most of the walls need to be sanded and repainted. We only have one bathroom, but when we redid the basement and bathroom, the people who did it installed piping that was too small, because of this our toilet at least once every 2 weeks to about a month will become clogged, overflow and flood our basement. When we talked to a plumber, he told us that we'd have to replace the toilet and the whole plumbing system, but it would cost thousands of dollars that we don't have. On top of that, our basement floods everytime it rains. We always talk about how we really just need to tear the house down an rebuild it but we simpily cannot afford it. I am 19 years old I was in the Air Force for a couple months, but then got medically discharged. I am trying to save up for a car because we only have one vehicle, a 97 Chevy truck on its last limb and then I'm trying to go to school to become a firefighter. My Nana pays most of the bills from her daycare and I also have a job, but trying to get moved to full time to help pay. When either of us have extra money, we donate to charities for people that aren't as lucky as we are. Both of my parents are unemployed and disabled, my dad who was shot and got several organs replaced over 20 years ago is having severe health problems now but keeps getting denied for disability. He hasn't been working for over 5 years now. Almost 8 years ago my mom was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and since then was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, gastroperesis, shogrens, and several other diseases. She fights her body constantly and for days and weeks sometimes more, she's unable to move. She stays in bed because the pain is everywhere and becomes unbearable. There are only a few things that she can do by herself, otherwise I have to aid her with bathing, cutting all the food she eats, helping her change clothes, ext. Together, my Nana and I do all the cooking, cleaning, housework, gardening, ext. I plan on moving out soon however my parents and grandma need me here to help with the things they can't do because of their health. When my Nana isn't working, she's doing extra work around the house. She has a bad shoulder that she was told that she needed surgery for but it would leave her shoulder almost useless so she fights the pain. Every weekend I curl her hair for her because she can't put her arm above her head. My Nana is absolutely incredible and cares more about nature, the animals that she feeds everyday, and other people before thinking about herself. She is the nicest lady you'll ever meet and when you need her, she's there with open arms and willing to help you anyway she can. I absolutely despise seeing her stressing about all the broken things in the house, all the housework that still has to be done, and finances. Every month she's barely making it and I try my best to help pay bills, buy groceries and give her any help she needs.

  40. Hello to all at ABC. My girlfriend has gone through divorce lately and has been the one paying the bills around the house. We live in a 900 sq ft home with three children all under 11 years. We have had to convert the front porch into a third bedroom for her and I to live from while the kids have the actual bedrooms. This home was first built in 1927 and it is in dire need of repair/remodel. I fear everyday when turning on the lights or using any of the sockets because the wiring is the tube and knob. Three sockets already have been disconnected from the breaker box to avoid a potential hazard. The roof is in disrepair, the garage door was never installed properly, the water pipes are old. I fear that there is mold growing somewhere behind cover. Since it has been difficult for myself to land a job we cannot make these repairs or improvments without some outside help. There is not enough space for all to live and grow as a strong family. We humbly ask for your consideration for a makeover. Thank you from us in Genoa, OH.

  41. In 2014, my husband's family had a rough year. In one year he lost his great grandmother to congestive heart failure and dementia. And he lost his grandmother to a stroke, cancer, and heart failure. His uncle John, with epilepsy, used to live with his grandma now leaving him to live alone. His mother inherited their home after the grandmothers passed away; however, it is has been 2 years now and she hasn't gained the courage or finances to take on the project of fixing the home. This would be an amazing relief for my husband and his mom to fix up the home and hopefully fix up a section of the home for Uncle John! Please help my in laws they would be so surprised and forever grateful!

  42. Hello to all who changed the life's of many. This is kind of a different post. A few days before all the tornados hit I was going to apply for my family yes we have a unique story,… But at least for now our house is still standing and spring is around the corner with warm weather. I'd like to help those who lost their homes in these tornados. Houses normally have insurance on them so if anything happens to them like this they can be rebuilt. But these people they did even have that much. They may not have a unique story like mine or many others but they need our help. Some companies can donate materials to help with the cost. 84lumber homedepot and others. A huge beautiful home for each I understand may not work for them and the budget of abc. There are other solutions to help them with a house that they can afford the over head cost of having a house run. Tiny houses. Just with a few tweaks

  43. My 5th brother, adopted, Andrew Brown, Andy for short, 34 years old with a nice smile and large heart. He lost his mother at age 25 from the affects of diabetes. A dairy farmer by trade, he even owns those beautiful Brown Swiss cows with big adorable cream-colored ears. But sadly, back twelve years ago, he lost his large 150 dairy heard, because he had to have a most needed double kidney and pancreas transplant. He was on dialysis for quite awhile afterwards. Since that time he has worked his way up to being a dairy farmer again, with a heard of 50 cows. He lives in Allenton, Michigan, in a very dilapidated, old farm house. His roof leaks, although he is staying on the first floor and I do not think the rain has yet reached the first floor, but it won’t be long. His windows are all saran wrapped. His house is in very bad shape and he does not have the money to improve it. He has different physical ailments from the transplants which plague his health, such as frequent bladder infections, catheter usage, and so on. He has many doctor appointments which keep him frequently away from his work. He is trying to make the most with what he has and is trying to enjoy life, which for him is very hard. He could use a little boost, a little help. We hope you will consider him a candidate for a modest house.

  44. My husband and I are a blind couple. We live on our own in a less than a desireable apartment complex. My husband and I are both diabetics. Due to our high medical expenses and low income we can't afford a better place to live. I know we don't own a home, but we are desperately seeking a better way of life. Any and all help would be grately appreciated. Thank You, Heather Ballard

  45. My dad suddenly passed away on February 19th of this year. He taught in Christian schools for 19 years and was a Pastor for 20 years. My mom is absolutely devestated. She has 7 kids with just now 1 that is living at home with no idea what to do. Change of scenery and a place for her to be happy is what we want for her. Just thought maybe it would be worth a shot to share this with you.

  46. We purchased our home by land contract in 2014 after renting it for 2 years following the short sale of a larger home in Milford, kidney transplant surgery and loss of our 4 businesses due to the economic crash in years prior – devastating us financially as was the case with many.

The home we live in now is on a private, all sports lake. The north side of the property is woods from road to lake, while the south side front has a 24×36 barn, 400 ft drive and hilly property.

The home was built in 84, and both prior owners did their own, poor work. The house is in good condition but needs a makeover inside and out. It can easily be expanded to add a 3rd garage, new master bath over the garage, shed to the lake, updated and larger kitchen, new laundry room and new lower level walk out, patio, landscape and more – no to mention dock/deck and the barn itself.

Due to the losses we suffered in the collapse, we cannot possibly make the improvements we would like to however this property may well be the finest on the lake and can be transformed from a nice lake home into a stunning estate.

We believe this property would provide an incredible opportunity to demonstrate whats possible. The current value is in the range of $550k. A full make over could easily support a value increase to $1.3-$1.5 million or more, enabling us to fully recover from the extraordinary losses.

You will not find a more beautiful palette to work from – we are blessed to have earned our way back to where we are. A makeover for us would be a dream come true.

    Thanks for your consideration, Mike

  47. Hi, my name is Bridget, my partner of 12 years was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. It's a rare type of cancer. It started in his leg and spread to his lungs. They cannot do surgery cause there is to many nodules in his lungs. He just had his first dose of chemo. We have two beautiful boys together age 10 and 6. We don't know how much time he has left. I work 32.hours a week at a grocery store and just make ends meet. My trailer is not up to date at all. He is able to get sick real easy and my trailer is falling apart. I'm scared that my house is gonna make him more sick then he already is. I want him to feel as comfortable as possible but that seems impossible in the trailer we are in. Please please help. Thank you and God bless

  48. My wife Jerrica is hands down one of the hardest working and most loving person that I know. She is an amazing wife and excellent mother of our three wonderful boys. We live on 5 beautiful acers and have a great home already, a stilt 2/1 that is 864sq feet, with a walled in garage underneath..appx 1,000sq', our " house in the treetops ". I know she feels so blessed to live where we do, yet I know things are rather tight at times. Her nest is our home and I wish I had the know how and ability to add to it to make a dream come true for her.
Please consider us an an applicant for a home makeover. We live a bit North of Tampa Fl, which is where I work.
    Respectfully,
    Thomas Ratcliffe

  49. I would like to be considered for an extreme home makeover because my family has been through so much since 2008. I received a kidney transplant in 2011 and now I have renal failure again and am back on dialysis. My children are 9 and 11 and we have had no funds to keep up our home. And I am in need of another kidney transplant at this time. Please consider us for an extreme home make over.

  51. Hi. I'm a 14 year old girl, and my house is extremely unhealthy. I'll tell you why. The house has suspected BLACK MOULD in the basement, where my 18 year old sister is sleeping at the moment. She is constantly getting sick and needs help. There are also vacuum tubes going through the support bars or beams holding the upper floor (also in the basement). There are no junction boxes on bunches of wires in the family room in the basement NEXT TO a LEAKY PIPE leasing to the bathroom upstairs. Which hasn't sparked yet but I suspect will anytime soon. The wall in my moms room is off center meaning sideways at the bottom so when a liquid or dirt is dropped near the wall, it ends up in the basement. The air exchange system was removed from the attic when we moved in 10 years ago, but the piping and tube are still there. They are blocked off but condensation builds up and water drops onto the floor deteriorating the floor beneath. The only good thing about This house is that we fin lay saved up enough money to partly pay for a brand new roof. We are still paying it off and it was in July 2015. There are probably more things I haven't spotted yet, but I'd rather stop them before it starts. My mom works full time as a muse practitioner 45 minuets away from home. She helps so many people but can not help her house and family. Please help is out. Me and my sick sister finally came together to write this message to you. Please help us. We will be grateful for every thing you do. Sincerely, a concerned daughter.

  52. First I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed Extreme Makeover and appreciate what you have done for more deserving persons than me.
I am living in the home my parents purchased around 1940, during WWII era. While Dad was in service Mom worked for living expenses and used the military allotment for payments on the property and home. Dad lived here until his death in 2000, Mom was in nursing care by that time. Some upgrades were made over the years, but Mom and Dad were not into the latest and greatest and I got the house somewhat into the 20th century in 2003, but it has not made it to the 21st. Any planned repairs and upgrades have gone by the wayside as my younger son and his wife have had severe health problems for a few years and I have supported them as best I could. She has since recovered to the point of being employed, but still has issues. My son may never work again. Due to complications from arthritis and diabetes I have retired early and living on retirement income so resources are now very limited. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for you time and consideration in this matter.
If this post twice, my apologies as the first attempt seemed to have failed.

  53. Hi all. First I want to thank you for all the great makeovers you have done for more deserving people than myself. I am a 63 year old early retired single woman living in the home my parents purchased during WWII. Mom worked while Dad was in service and used his military allotment money to make payments for the purchase. Dad lived here until his death in 2000, Mom was in nursing care at the time. In 2002 the house went into estate status and I now have the house and a few acres. Over these years, Mom and Dad did some upgrading. I brought it into the 20th century in 2003, but it has not made the 21th yet. And during the years the needed upgrades have become overwhelming for 1 person and even more so now that I am living on retirement income. I am appreciative of your time and consideration and look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

  54. I would like to nominate my parents for the extreme makeover, home edition because their house is dearly in need of some major repairs with new problems showing up quite often.often . my parents would do anything for anybody, help the with food, money, anything else possible. The backside of their house is rotting more with every rainfall, the roof is leaking a little more with each rainfall, the back bedroom of the house is closed off for that reason. There are so many more things that could be said.
Thank You for allowing me to enter this.

  55. Almost 2 years ago we were living in a rental and were told when the lease was up we had to move bc the owner wanted to sell. In trying to find another home to rent, (trying to find a place we could have horses) I often would look at homes for sale that have been on the market for a while that maybe they were ready to rent bc it hasn't sold. In doing so, I found my dream home! A diamond in the rough. A big fixer upper that was being sold as is at an amazing price. I LOVED THIS HOUSE! We contacted the owner to see if she would be willing to rent for a while bc we were not able to buy anything yet. My husband lost his over a year ago at that point and had trouble finding another job. He was a full time firefighter up until he got a job in the private industry as a safety officer at a local company. He volunteered as a firefighter while he did this job because it was in his heart! When he was laid off from the private industry job finding a full time job was near impossible. He finally got one at a local trucking company as dispatcher. He was miserable in this job, he had a hard time dealing with other unethical employees and it just wasn't firefighting! Also, this job barely paid the bills. I am stay at home mom that home schools our middle school age kids and a pre-schooler. He has since found his dream job as a fire chief at local airport , it is not the greatest paying job but he is happy and that is what makes life matter.
Back to our house situation, I sent a letter to the owner of the house I found and she said that she instantly loved our letter and our story and wanted to meet. We were able to move in a month later! We hope so much to be able to buy this house and fix it up. The amazing owner has even given us an allotment to help do some fixing up, that also being said, the past 2 years my husband was in two car wrecks a month a part where he had several broken ribs and fractured skull and has not been able to do everything we have wanted. Last summer he was bitten by a copper head while trying to get some tools as he was trying to do some work on the house. 🙁 That put him out even longer, and just two weeks ago he was bitten by a water moccasin that was in his boot right outside our front door. That was a horrible time for him, he was in the hospital two weeks with both bites! Also starting a couple of years ago he started getting kidney stones, CONSTANTLY! He has had a tough few years. Our dr bills have added up to so much, buying this home that I love so much is going to be a challenge that I feel might be impossible! I try to lighten his load by doing some painting and stuff but trying to do that with kids and homeschooling is hard. So I am asking for help to get our renovations done to help him. Things that need to be done are the outside wood siding around the whole house is crumbling off. Our windows are not even see through because of a film that has set up between the panes of glass. The house has original wood floors throughout most but are splintering up. We had to actually have a huge splinter taken out of my 3 years old's toe. Under her toe nail. Our popcorn ceiling is falling off. Our roof in one spot is bowing down. Our deck has holes and rotten wood through out. I just want so bad to give him some peace of mind, because not only does he have the weight of his medical issues, he has the weight of the medical bills and our everyday bills on him and he has to come home from a more than full time job to a house that need so much work, while trying to see if we can get our credit back on track to buy this house! Please if you can help us, please come our way! We live just south of Memphis, 20 min, in Hernando, ms.

  56. My family consists of myself and 4 children. We recently bought a fixer upper house because that's what I could afford. I thought I could slowly do some repairs while we live there however, we aren't even able to move in to it at this point. I'm a single mom raising my kids by myself, while my youngest daughter has spinal muscular atrophy. The electric is on fuses and so over loaded that it can't support her medical equipment. We didn't know how bad the electric was before we purchased the home. When we took possession of the home we were in for a surprise. The previous owner had boarded all the windows in the upstairs. I wasn't sure why so I started taking the wood down to discover the windows were either missing or completely broken. We then went to the basement to find that they had unplugged the sump pump so the basement was flooded and ruined the water heater. I am so over whelmed and not sure why I can find the money for these repairs. We were moving to this area so I could get some nursing services for my daughter so I can go back to years. I haven't been able to work in 6 years due to her health. I'm in desperate need of any help I can get at this point. I try so hard to make my kids lives better and it seems like every step forward we make, we hit another dead end.

  57. I believe my mother is more then deserving of this extreme home makeover for many reasons. she was a single mother of 4 children, and a survivor of stage 4 lung cancer. All of her life she has worked for the community, consisting of working at the homless shelters, senior centers and being paralegal. Helping comes naturally to her because since she was young she stuck close an helped take care of her brothers, who both have disablitys. Our last name is Murphy an we have a family joke that the Murphys law is all too real in our family. Thelist of things like me having a brain tumor at the age of17, or my brother being diagnosed with Hydro syphilis, she was of course always by our side making sure we were not afraid. Over the years of us kids and her brother living with her the house has deffinetly taken a beating. Nothing is quite right, the basement was never finished so there is insulation falling from the ceiling. its almost not livable now because the furance is so old it blows smoke into the house in the winter, leaving a black powder everywhere. An with my mom working on a fixed income she can only do so much. I have done as much as I can, such as patching holes or ripping the molded carpet out. It was making us sick it had to come out, but don't have anything to put over it or the cash so its just plywood right now. The pluming deffiently could use work and the handicap ramp that was built for her brother is now breaking. I love my mother very much and I'm afraid of with all the stress and the furnace smoke that she will come out of remission. An she has faught so hard for her family to be healthy I just want the best for her. I know its a long shot but would you please help us makeover our house!?

  58. My name is Natalie Meyers and my family need your help.We are currently living in a house full of mold. Our foundation is rotting, and we were told it can collapse if not fixed. we have two boys. My husband works so hard for his family and never asks for help, it has always been him doing the helping. Please help my family. God Bless

  59. I am asking for this today because my mom deserves everything in the world. She is a single mom taking care of 3 children and isn't being paid child support because just recently my dad got arrested for doing something terrible. He will be gone for a while and my mom only making part-time income we would never be able to fix up our house. There are a lot of things my mom wants to fix up in our home but these things will never happen unless we get help from this show! I'm hoping this actually comes true but everything happens for a reason so if not then it's alright.

  60. I am writing this on behave of William Elliott. Bill was in the paratroopers and served in the 82nd airborne. He also was in the Ohio National Guard and from there was deployed to Iraq for a year. He has had four back surgeries, a dorsal simulator put in his back and neck. He has many more procedures to follow. He is in a wheel chair permanently. He has his bedroom in the living room, and he has someone take him to the YMCA three times a week to shower. This is because jthe bathroom and the bedroom are on t he second floor. This will be his life from now on. This has all been because of his service to his country. He will never be any better. It is very humiliating for a wounded warrior or anyone to have to live like this. Bill does not know I am writing this letter. He asks nothing and wand wants no sympathy. I as a christian friend ask this for Bill and his wife. If only you could help by building him a bedroom and handicapped bath. May God bless you all! Linda Furrow

When he came home from the hospital he was a different man and started to physically abuse all of us, so mom made the the hardest decision of her life and had him move out. My mom make 750 dollars a month and we have tried to sign up for different programs in Maine that she does not qualify for. She took my fiance and me in while we are in hard times, her house is falling g apart with cardboard covering holes in her flooring and plastic covering holes in the outside walls of her house. Her home is in desperate need of repair and I am reaching out to help this amazing woman in my life to have a save home to live in.

  64. Hi Ty and Team,

My story doesn't sound as horrific as some of the ones I'm reading here, but it's equally as important to me. After working for a company for more than 9 years, I requested to relocate from San Jose California to Atlanta, Georgia. My company promised to assist with my transfer to an Atlanta area office and I agreed to pay all my own relocation expenses. After spending $20,000 relocating, and purchasing a 4,500 sf home, my company didn't hold up their end of the bargain. They essentially stalled my interviewing processes with the other offices, and then terminated me "because I hadn't found anything". That's another issue I’m now trying to resolve. Meanwhile, without adequate income I didn't earn enough money to deduct my moving expenses when I filed my taxes. Another loss and $20,000 in credit card debt (my moving expenses) that I couldn't clear as planned. My escrow was delayed by 21 days for which the builder penalized me $200 per day. They never finished my house as promised and hadn't provided a Certificate of Occupancy to the closing attorney in time for me to receive the keys at closing. However, they made me pay this penalty anyway in order to get the house keys from the home sales office the day following escrow. My feeling is that if they hadn't provided a Certificate of Occupancy, and I couldn't receive keys at closing as promised, then they, not me, were delayed, even though they had an additional 21 days and charged me heavily for it! Another loss, but I'm working on it, so far, to no avail. Anyway, as originally planned, I immediately moved in my 87 year old father, and my fiancé's 81 year old mother (his mother just arrived two weeks ago from Castro Valley, CA). I'm hoping to eventually move my 78 year old mother here as well. She has suffered several strokes, her memory was badly affected and she doesn't speak well anymore, but I can understand her… I can "feel" what she's saying or asking. I feel like I need her with me for her own healing, and maybe even mine. My fiancé and I are starting a new business so we can work from home and care for our parents. He is a retired sitcom director, and I'm, well, everything else. When we bought this house we planned to convert our 2,000 sf basement into part studio and office space for my fiancé, and part entertainment and living space for the rest of us, including a pub in honor of my father who owned small bars/taverns when I was growing up. The one I remember the most was called the Cellar Door. Ironically, it was in the basement of a big house owned by friends of the family. The most important thing to me regarding the pub is going to be the sign over the doorway that reads “The Cellar Door”. Is that crazy? Anyway, our basement is studded and divided into five large rooms, but not finished. Needless to say, with everything that's happened, we can't afford to do any of that now. This is important to me because my parents are old now, and I've missed so much during the last 33 years while I was living in California. I know these are the last years of their lives, and my heart needs to provide the sort of comfort for them that I know they've never had, and I feel a need to shower them with the love and care I wasn't here to give for so many years. I realize from reading the letters on this site, that there are certainly a lot of people in the world who have it much worse than I/we do. I understand if I have to be looked over for the folks who need it more. But if you accept applicants like me/us, I think mine would be a great project and I'd love to see it come to fruition. I'm thanking you either way, and sending my blessings to the families whose dreams you've already fulfilled and to those yet to come.

    Thank you,
    Maria Arcuri

  65. Hello,

My name is Damein Blackwell and I am contacting you all for the opportunity to have my grandmother Lois Rose be on the show, as her home is in need for an immediate improvement. Her home was built around the 1920's and they've lived there since the 1970's. The home still has an old style wood stove being used to hear but that source of heat worries me and other family members given my grandmothers health and age (96). My brother and I took it upon ourselves to do some renovating on a smaller scale but honestly we don't have the type of money or resources needed to complete the whole project and that's is what's needed in my belief for her to live the rest of her days out comfortably. There's been instances of pest, roof collapsing, foundation shifting, among other things that has lead me to reach out to you all for help. I just want to see my grandmother in a nice home while she is still here to enjoy it, it'll be something she never had.

  66. Hello: My name is Sherry Carver I am writing you because on February 5th of 2015 I lost my dear husband and father to my 5 children but I also have my grandson and daughter-in-law who live with me our house currently came up for sale and I don't have the money to buy it. I really need this because I can't afford to move my cars not reliable enough for my family needs. We really need your help I usually don't do this but i'm in desperate need and really don't want to loose everything I have. I have had to move once a year since my first child was born and he is 23 now. I'm not able to work because of disabilities that I have hope to hear from you very soon thank you and god bless. I also have very limited income and pay most of the bills by myself because it has been very difficult for my son to hold a job.

  67. I would liked to enter our veterinary Dr. Merry. She has the biggest heart and must be one of the only veterinaries that doesn't Over charger her clients just to get rich, she is known for how she dose what she dose because shed loves animals, she is honest and people drive hours to see her, I myself drive 1 hour for her to see my little yorkie . When you pull up and walk into her building you think oh what a cute little place. The waiting room is on the small side and hour truly taken back when you check in and see that they don't even have a computer system instead they are still hand writing charts and the file them in big tubs because it looks like they have ran out of filing room in the small office. The only have one examination room that really needs updating the bathroom has holes in the wall so im sure the other room's where the animals stay is small and needs to be updateted. I know this isn't a said story about someone losing everytgung they have, but hopefully you will considered redoing Dr. Kerry's office. She employees several people and wugg the more than reasonable prices im sure its hard to do any updated and remodeling with out having to go up on her prices. This vet works with her customers with payment plans if they need it and takes care of so may anaimls it would be nice to see one that is doing something she loves with out taken advantage of people receive somwgbung nice back so tHat she can continue to give the great service that she dose and be able to help more anaimls.I know she saved my little yorkie she was in Dr. mzrry's care for 5 days being treated with medicine, all of her shots updated a flea treatment medicine to take Howe and even a small baggie of food all for $150.00 now I'm smart enough to know if those are her prices she is doing what she dose because she loves what she dose and Probably docent make a whole lot to do remodeling. it would be nice to see her receive something back for back for all she dose. If she is picked I have a crew of us that is willing to get our hands dirty and help Ty and his team out.

  68. Hi team
My name is Brenda Kumalo and I'm 37 years old. My reason for applying for extreme home make over is not because I watch your show everyday but its because I really need your help. I moved from home 3 years ago to work at another region living my 2 kids with my mother aged 12 and 3 by then. I have never helped my little one with her homework which is sad. The situation they live is not what I want for my kids and my mother to live in. My sister who is 44 still lives at home with her 3 children, she doesn't want to work cook or clean the house small house they live in. She lives everything to my mother and her first born child. Even when she has money she buys take outs and drinks to eat alone not even with her kids because she knows I will buy food in bulk since my kids are there with them I wont let anyone starve.Truth is I can't afford to support her and her kids when she can work and move out of the house and support her own family, because I also have to pay rent where I'm renting, buy food and do all other debts I have plus I have a baby coming in march 7th this one room I'm renting is too small for me and my fiancee. That house is too small for all them so I want to move my kids to live with us but we can't afford to buy a house in order for me to take my kids. What is more painfull is that there are times when my kids and mom would go to bed without food because it's finished before the end of the month. I can't let my kids live like that,my mom has high blood pressure because of my sister, she can't do things the way she used to and feel very sad and worry about her health. If something happens to her before I get the house what will happen of kids? I was trying to extend her house make it bigger for her just to say thank you to her for everything she has done for me but now I'm giving up because of the inconsiderate sister who doesn't want to move out at her age and start her own life she wants live of other people I cant do it anymore. I really need help to have my own house and live my family away from that drama. Please please Ty and your team reach out and help me out.

    Best regards
    Brenda Kumalo (South Africa) Johannesburg.

  69. Greetings, my name is Jonathan. I am a recently retired veteran currently living with my in-laws as my wife and I search for a home to raise our three children in. This post is about my in-laws. My wife and I have been married now for 9 years. Over the past 9 years, I have been blessed and truly amazed at the continuos kindness brought forth by my in-laws. They have bent over backwards for my family and I, helping my wife pregnant with our first child while I was deployed. Always there for us in emergencies and and present for all of my childrens big events even when I couldnt. They have put a lot on hold and set aside a lot of things to be there for us. Over the past couple of years I have learned how far their generosity and blessings have spread, not only helping the family of their daughter but all of their four children and both of my in-laws parents. Their love for family and willingness to help anyone is beyond belief. They have given so much for everyone around them, I think they sometimes have forgotten their own wants and dreams. I feel that a makeover of my parent in-laws home will be a true blessing and more than deserving for them. Thank you for the consideration and God Bless.

  70. Our home is in beautiful Duluth Mn. We are a young couple starting out we have 7.5 month old lil angel named Axtel. And since his birth I haven't been able to go back to work. I am a full time student. Problem is our home is caving in. The basement wall is collapsing. We really need your help.

  71. I am 12 years old and my family just recently this year found out that my mother has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer… We have a pretty different life then how it used to be, my mother still works pretty hard to keep the house clean and to stay at her job during the day! My father works most of the time but a lot of the time he has to be here helping with the kids…. We have a dog that we all love and helps us stay positive. Since she got diagnosed my mother can't do as much as she used to be able to do so sometimes it's hard! Our house is pretty small for a family of 5 with a dog to add on to that! We have in the past had a lot of problems with mild in the corners of our rooms…. We have even tried sending in house cleaners, We could deffinetly use a new house but with my moms sickness we just don't have enough time or money. All 3 kids also play sports and I'm in really bad need of contacts! But with the help of others my dad has promised me I will get this! As you can see this life is not easy but we deffinetly get through it and we could use your help!

  72. Hi Ty, my name is Abby. My friends the Gardner family is the most amazing people you will ever meet. About 6 months ago a little 7 year old girl named Taylor was Diagnosed with cancer. Taylor was a very heart warming and the most sweetest little girl you'd ever meet. She made everyone's day and she always no matter what had a smile on her face. She never would let cancer get her down and she loved her family very very much. Her dad Jeff did everything in his power to be the best dad he could be and did everything he could to help her. Jeff at one point left his hole family and drove about 19 hours away out west to get Taylor better treatments.. Sadly the tumor didn't shrink at all and acouple days after thanksgiving she passed. Gone but never forgotten we all still keep Taylor's name alive but also Jeff has never stopped he's now doing everything he can spending his own money on other kids battling the fight. He's helped our Community out so much I believe it's his time to get helped out..

  73. Today my grandmother, Gloria, left for a trip that she thought was going to be great. At about 3 o'clock today, my mom had to tell her that her house completely burned down due to unknown causes and nothing was saved. The only thing that was left was all scrap. All her pictures, furniture, appliances, clothes, absolutely EVERYTHING is gone and all she has is one suitcase of clothing. She was struggling as it was and now she does not have a home. I have pictures if you need proof, please help my grandmother get the home she deserves. Thanks for all that y'all do.
