  1. My house that I'm living In has a lot of problems. There is mold and frost on the walls in multiple bedrooms. The basement has no carpeting and the roof needs to be redone. I was diagonosed with diabetes in 2010 and my parents have a hard time paying for all of the supplies that i need to keep myself healthy. Also our septic system has recently failed. The walls in my sisters room has cracks in it. I would like to have this opportunity so I can surprise my parents and give them the best present ever.

  2. I would like a miracle to happen for my family. Our house is literally falling apart, our walls are cracking, our roof is no more because of all the rain and snow. Our floors are caving in and afraid to fall through the floor to the basement. My mom is the only one working and is struggling trying to provide for the family. My dad is a retired veteran who is also handicapped and my brother who is 9 has autism. I'm pregnant and my fiancé and I live together in this house because we both lost our jobs and are trying to get one immediately. My mom prays everyday hoping that someone or God can help us. We had one person fix our bathroom but now in less than a year it's completely destroyed. I'm so sad that I never had the money to help put towards the roof, I have bills just like the rest of the family. We lost our food stamps and now we're trying to get them back..my only wish is to have my house put back together. I don't ever want it to be fancy, just fixed. Please, I'm in desperate need of help.. Thank you for your time..

  3. I inheearited my childhood home after my dad passed in 2011. I have enphasyma, use oxygen 24/7. I'm limited to movement in this house. the electric is so outdated I blow fuses all the time. don't have a furnace of any kind, use electric space heaters. the bathroom has no running water at the sink. the shower is old hardly puts out water, has no venelation system so I have a hard time breathing in there even with my oxygen on. I cry a lot which doesn't help my breathing. I just want to cleanse my body when I want to. as of now I have to wait on others to even get a shower. sometimes takes days. I just sometimes want to give up on life for I see no bright future here. I lost my son to heroin in 2009 & went into a seveare depression mode. now I'm getting better with the depression I can't function . I never leave my house cause I can't even feel good about myself. can you please help me?? windows are original from my dad in the 60"s some let in a lot of cold air my b/f lives here with me. he helps me with the groceries that I don't go to any stores. he has replaced my roof as it leaked everywhere. he works & does the work around here by himself. I'm killing him slowly with all the things I need done to make my days better breathing days. I'm only 51 yrs old. will send a video if need be. God Bless

  4. I have an aunt and uncle who live in a mobile home in Biloxi, MS. Their home received a lot of damage from hurricane Katrina. They are two of the most caring and amazing people I know. They don't have much to offer, but they will bring you in and give what they have to you. They have my very ill grandmother living with them. She is in and out of the hospital with pneumonia and she has trouble getting up and around on her own. She has a walker and hospital bed, but the place isn't really big enough for her to get around well. So my aunt has to help her get up, walk her around to where she needs to go and bathe her. She has to completely take care of her. My aunt doesn't really complain about it but it hurts her back a lot when she has to pick her up. She was also recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, but she is refusing any treatment right now, because she is worried about who is going to take care of her mom. There is other family, but they are unable to really help. There is a nurse that comes in every other day, but that doesn't help on their off times. Not only does she have my grandmother to take care of, but they have two kids.
They are also dealing with a situation of trying to get custody of their two grandchildren who are 7 and 5 years old. Their father died a few years ago, and their mother is not in the right state of mind to take care of them. Unfortunately they didn't realize the process they would have to go through. They have to become foster parents. They are taking the classes. The problem is their house isn't up to code. They have a lot of damage that they haven't been able to afford to do to much at once. They were also told they didn't gave enough rooms. They have the three little ones in one room, my grandmother in another and their oldest kind of has a room with the laundry area. They having been putting every penny they have in trying to get their house up to code. They have plywood floors. They have filled in spots rather were damaged with Sheetrock. Just redid slot in the bathroom, and are right now replacing the front door. They are doing the best they can but they only afford to do so much, and they have trouble doing something's on their own. They also can't sand, paint or stain in the house, because my grandmother is on an oxygen tank. My husband Unfortunately their cut off date is Wednesday. They are frantic they their grandchildren might be put in the system because they can't get their house done. They said they aren't going to give up. Even past Wednesday and hopefully they will be able to get them back.
My aunt goes non stop from 3:45AM until sometimes 11:00-12:00 a night. Depending on how well my grandmother is doing. She is so tired and overwhelmed every day but she never quits. She is one of the strongest people I have ever met, but I am afraid she is going to run herself down. She has always taken care of everybody. Just like my grandmother. My grandmother's blood pressure goes up and she gets more sick, because she is constantly worrying about my aunt. She feels like she is an inconvenience. My grandmother is also an amazing women who has always taken care of everyone. We have a lot of sick family members and she feels helpless. I believe if they had a better place to live. It would relieve so much stress for them. It would help them take better care of other people, finally take care of themselves and be able to keep their grandkids.
I just feel so helpless right now watching my aunt breakdown. I feel the only other thing I can do is see if there is someone out their to help.

  5. Hi there, I know you get tones of these everyday and i have taken the time to read what other people have said and yes there will always be someone who has it worse then you. I'm 17 years old and going off to collage in the summer. my house consists of me, my brother. my mom and father. our house is just falling apart and every time we spend more money on the problem something else happens. it hurts to see my family like this and knowing we wont be able to afford to fix much anymore and me going away to collage. if you could please help us that would mean the world to me and my family. thank you for your time and reading this. I hope to hear back from you. -Daryien

  6. Iam writing in behave of my mom. I know anyone who could discribe their mom would say she's amazing, but I want to tell you about my mom. Though the years She has been through life changing events one after the other. I pray she catches a break just once. My mom resides in Louisiana where she endured hurricane Katrina. Way before that tragedy toke place she suffered. I thought I had the perfect family until I witness my mom go through a divorce and was on the verge of loading her home all at once. She worked three jobs at a time just to get by. At times I coukd understand why she always was gone and I had to be looked after by family all the time . I was too young to get it. She remained strong and determined to survive by all means. Our family home started to become run down as I witness my mom take on so much, but it was a roof over our heads. It was just my mom and I at the time. My brothers and sister were older and moved out of the home. I guess depression or shame toke over because my mom didn't really tell many people what we went through. Some nights we didn't have much to eat and I remember eating grits for meals all the time. Frequently the water or the lights were off. We use to go by the near by grocery and fill water bottles and used that for bathing after boiling it on the stove. If the lights were out we would light candles. In the winter on cold nights we would snuggle up on the couch to keep warm.there wasn't room to lay on beds. My mom started collecting things to where the rooms were full no one could walk into them.eventually family and my moms co workers started seeing something wasn't right and started trying to help, but there was so much people could do. My mom then got fired from her job later on which made things worse. I ended up getting pregnant out of high school and that didn't hekp. We ended up moving to my grandmothers house for a brief period where I remember sleeping in the kitchen sitting up in a chair. While pregnant. Some night I would just sleep in the car, cause there wasn't extra room to sleep in the house. I did work, and hekp my mom with the bills but it wasn't enough money to help much. I also attended college to better myself thinking I woukd help, but the way we were living just distracted me. Well she ended up finding A job, but something happened that made things even worse. Hurricane Katrina to place. She was so focused on going to work and making money to pay the bills, that the night before it happened I begged her to leave. She was to worried about paying bills. I begged n begged., but she didn't budge. I ended up leaving the city with my Childs father. She stayed and went to work. The next day I made it into Mississippi. Radio stations started to say New Orleans was gone. I thought what coukd they possibly mean. We ended up going to a church that got cable for the evacuees to see the news. Then it happened, I watched as I saw the city covered in water, thinking where's my mom. My didn't she come. Better yet why did I leave her there. Her I am safe while she's there.bi couldn't process what was happening. I cried every night until a church member did some research and found my mom. This particular day. For the first time in a long time i got on the phone with my mom and we told each other I love you. It wads miracle her job transported her to Baton Rouge where I met up with her and never let her go after that. She went back to New Orleans and started the rebuilding process where just like before things toke a turn for the worse. A company she trusted mislead her taking her money and doing a botched job, slowing her from finishing something that U.S. well disserved. It has been almost nine years and she's still not into her home. Please if anyone deserves a break its my mom. I love her,and I hope and pray this is her break. She is currently grieving from the loss of two sisters who thought the world of her one from breast cancer and the other a heart attack. It's been a long time since I've seen my mom happy. Please grant this one wish so I see my mom smile for once and not worry.

  8. Hi my name is Geraldine Fitzgerald I would really love the chance of an extreme home makeover, as I have 3 children 17 7 & 4 & a 3 bedroom house.
My 4yr old son is still in my room, as my other 2 bedrooms only have a wardrobe and a single bed in them. I got new windows and doors in a fee yrs ago, & I had more heat before I got them. Not only have they made my house full of dame due to not being sealed right, I am waiting on them coming in on top of us. The company have went bust now so I have no come back. My house also needs rewired. I only have one else light on a strip of 4 In my living room & dining room also light under unit in kitchen. In bathroom I did have 1 out of 4 strip, but not it doesn't even work. At night u have to use the light to shine on from hall so u can see. My heating is oil and it broke last yr & we got it fixed but about a week and half ago we got oil and it wouldn't go on so wen guy came out, he said we were lucky it didn't blow up.
so with this bad weather and snow we gave no heat. My kids r always sick with a bad cold or chest infection for past yr.
I can't take this anymore, we can't afford to move if this house doesn't kill me with sickness I will end up in the funny farm.
    SO PLEASE CONSIDER US
    MANY THANKS

  9. My name is Kimberly Autry and I live with my parents for now but will soon be getting my own place. My mother and father are in desperate need of a new house. They live in Chelsea, Ok. My mother had a hysterectomy gone wrong and is now in a wheel chair. She also has a bad kidney and is about to get it removed. We have an unfinished house and it is not wheel chair accessible. With all of the hospital bills, it is hard for my father to make these changes to the house and get it finished to where my mother can get around better. My father is having to work over time to pay these bills and they never get a chance to spend time with each other. I just wish for them to happy again!

  11. I am writing to try and help out a neighbor who is a retired veteran living in the saddest conditions anyone should have to live in . His name is Pablo he is a Navy vet ,68 yrs old living in a home that had a kitchen fire and now has no electricity,no heat, so during the day he sits outside to read his paper and walks with a cane about a mile to eat once a day to jack in the box for his one meal. I met him at the local VFW a few years ago I would cook Friday night dinners. He now has no transportation so he just stays home. I try to take him meals from time to time and give him rides to jack in the box but he is very proud he always says he's fine or he just ate. If anyone ever needed help it is Pablo please consider him . thank you Loretta a concerned friend

  12. My name is Hannah and I am a mom to three beautiful children. My grandfather recently bought a fixer upper for me and my family. My husband is the only person working at the moment and we have recently taken in my brother in- law and his two children also. We would love nothing but to make our home beautiful and safe for all of our children but we are not financially able to. Our electricity goes out in various rooms constantly , all of our plumbing is faulty and the ceilings and roofs are unfinished. We are hoping for nothing short of a miracle to help us create the life that we know our children deserve. Please and thank you from all of the spence family in Mims, Florida.

  13. Hello my name is Nicole ,a single mom of three. I am nominating myself for a home makeover.I have a three bedroom that I need help with. I try to maintain it but, by doing so something usually doesn't get paid like my water bill. I desperately need my floors done over which are not level. I need closets because I only have one small one in my upstairs hall way.and I need my roof resealed because it leaks when it rains hard. Also my basement floods.(I tried to repair myself by filling with cement. It slowed it)last but not least, I would like to use my basement door but the steps r way too short for a size 8 foot and the door is cut small. Despite of this I extend my home to friends /family needing shelter. Thanks.

  14. Hello,Reader of Extreme Home Makeovers
Iam just taking a chance at writing to you today with honestly no high hopes in even getting to be part of your program , but what the heck im gonna try anyways. My names Leah, my husband and I bought my grandparents home 12 years ago. It was built in the 70's. We have 3 children. And many blessed family members that visit us often. We have had high hopes for our home but like many normal working families our dreams are on hold because of day to day needs for our family. We have tried remodeling a little here and there but it seems to never become completed. And finances have been an issue to do so. With the help of your crew and progam my dream of a finished, updated home would be completed and greatly appreciated by our family. I have always been grateful for what I have and am blessed with, and have always tried to make my home feel like a home no matter what the circumstances. It would be a miracle to have my home remodeled. Thank you for your time. Sincerly, Leah……

  15. My husband is 34 years old and we found out a month ago he has cancer . The cancer is in his left leg . It's called sarcoma . He can't have surgery because the tumor has gotten to big , they would have to amputate his leg . We are going back and forth to Birmingham Alabama to UAB a lot . He was suppose to start chemotherapy and radiation soon but his insurance want cover but his2 treatments a year . He also has lesions on his lungs where possibly the cancer has spread . We got to go back the 20th of this month. For a PET Scan to see if it's spread anywhere else . Our house though is very unsafe for him . I am worried that our home is gonna make him sicker. Our house was our wedding present . One I wish his mother would have kept . We have kids also had, they also stay sick a lot and so do I . I want the best for my husband and for to him to have one less worry because we don't know what the out come might be yet.

  16. Hey my name is star Johnson, I am 15 years old . I am nominating my grandmother she is a 51 year old woman that lost her daughter 9 years ago and took on the task of taking care of her 3 grandkids. Then we had to move into a one bedroom rv. Then we was blessed with a house , but she had a tragic wreak and lost the ability to take care of herself. All the bills started stacking up and we lost the house. Now she is disable with no job and we are living with our cousin and her husband and grandkids, there is ten of us in one house. Every day she prays and try to find us some shelter, but she has no luck. Please help us! Thank you

  17. I am writing to ask for help for my brother and his family. Preston has been married to his 2nd wife for just over 1 year. She has had rheumatoid arthritis/lupus for 20 years and is only 38. He has 3 children with his first wife and he has a room for them at his house. Suzanne has a daughter of her own but when they got married and moved into her house, he wanted to remodel the house and started with a bedroom that would be for his children. He got it mostly finished and then worked on the master bedroom. Our mother has some health issues and he commented that he wanted to get a house big enough for them all to live together so he could take care of them. He was diagnosed with diabetes and had a toe amputated in October because during the destruction of the next room, he stuck a nail in his foot and it was in there for a few days before it was found. He has no feeling in his feet. On Tuesday January 13, 2015, he had to have some more bone removed because of infection. He is a young man with a family and wants to provide them a nice home to live in, however the floors are weak and sunken in and other things are wrong with the house that I do not know about. I truly feel that they are deserving of being a part of this program.

  18. I have a friend who has a family of 4. The mother, Marianna is on disability for asthma, neuropathy, shingles, rhematoid arthritis, sleep apnea, and the father has been fired from work after having a seizure and is presently waiting for disability. Doug has had 3 previous seizures but doctors haven't been able to find out what is causing them. They have a set of twin girls that are now 15 years old. The one twin Mercydies is a perfectly normal little girl who has helped mom and dad to care for her sister. Even when she was 3 years old, Mercydies would hand me a catheter, diaper, or what ever I needed to care for her sister. Her sister Rainey, wasn't so lucky to be a healthy normal little girl. Rainey was born with spinal bifida, hydrocephalus, trache, paralyzed vocal chords, and has been on a vent for about 2 years. This family I have known because I was Rainey's private duty nurse through the school district when the girls were 3 years old up until they were able to attend Early Childhood and at this time, I became the nurse there. This family had been through extreme amount of surgeries by not only the mother, the father, and Rainey. There could not be a better and more deserving family that is in need of a complete house makeover. Their house is falling apart and the way that the stairs are positioned in the middle of the kitchen and the living room makes it difficult for Rainey to be moved from room to room. The house is approximately 800 square feet and makes maneurving a wheelchair next to impossible.Rainey is unable to be picked up and therefore must be pushed from room to room in her wheelchair but the problem being is that the halls are too narrow to get through. Marianna and Doug are the best parents and have tried all of these years to make the best kind of life for their children to have a sub normal life. I really wish that this family would receive an entire house makeover and soon. Maryanne sometime ago had a van accident and hit a deer and the insurance company was going to total the van but Maryanne and Doug could not afford to get another vehicle and so they had to buy back the van to have a wheelchair lift for their daughters wheelchair. Right now, their hospital bills are astronomical and their utilities are being shut off and Maryanne sleeps on the floor next to Rainey's bed in order to be there next to her in case of an emergency with Rainey and her trache. Please help this family out.No family should have to continue to live this way for this long. I love this family and you will too when you meet them. As a registered nurse I see all of the different equipment that this family should have to properly care for their daughter. The first and foremost thing is a bigger house that would accommodate the wheelchair that has the ventilator connected. A lift from the Rainey's bedroom to a bathroom via a track would help tremendously.Marianna and Doug would never want any spotlight on them but that is why I am asking for your help. A back up generator would be a high priority for the respirator. Let us not forget about Mercydies who has been there from day one. She wants to work in the medical field when she graduates from high school. If ever this family needs help it is now!!! Please submit this family for the home makeover. Thanks, and God Bless what you are doing.

  19. My name is Patricia, My husband and I had to move in with my mom and sister. We had to burn our house and get rid of it because my husbands health got bad. He couldn't do repairs on it. So it leaked in every room. Also rooms were not finished, wires hanging, mold just wasn't livable. He has Parkinson's disease and other health issues. Takes around 100 pills a week. Now we have no place for our kids and GRANDKIDS to come visit us or spend the night. So we don't see them as often. PLEASE HELP

  20. I am desperately worried about my daughter and her family. They need help desperately. My daughter is Colleen and her husband is Mike . They have 7 children ages 14, 12, 10, 8, 5, 3 and 2. The 3 year old is autistic. They are living in a three bedroom house. Four of the girls are crammed into one bedroom, the parents do not have a bedroom, the sleep in the living room on a blow up bed. The two year old girl is in the same bedroom with the autistic three year old boy. The autistic child is very aggressive and continually tries to hurt his two year old sister. He will not stay in a crib and sleeps on the floor, but climbs into the baby's crib. He takes off his clothes and diaper and smears feces all over the baby's crib. This is a very dangerous situation but there's no where else to put her crib. In addition to this, their father lost his job and had been out of work for months. They are in danger of foreclosure from the bank. They are driving old vehicles that will not hold the family in one vehicle. But they are also in danger of losing the vehicle too. Please, please help them. I am not able to help them as my husband became seriously ill with guillian Barre and is in a wheelchair and I have to help him. Things are so out of control with them. They live in Maryland. I beg you to try to help these children. They do not even have the funds to get the proper care for the autistic child.

  21. my daughter is totally disabled she has had 4 heart attacks and 5 strokes she lives in a trailer that has roof leaks bad electric cause of the roof and her walls are separating from the floors and her gas furnace gassed her so it was disconnected and there is holes in the floors im her mom i cant help her financially she really needs a make over GOD BLESS YOU

  22. Hello, my name is Brittany and my boyfriend and I moved into our first house in May of 2014. I have recently started my own home daycare and could really use some help with making the basement more kid friendly, we could also use some help in getting the rooms to be a better sleep area. My dad passed away when I was young and my mum lives about 8 hours away, being able to get this help would make the difference and help me succeed in my career.

    Thanks Brittany

  25. Reading all these stories, I don't even know how to compare or even where to start. Well in 2013 my mother, Linda, got diagnosed with 2nd stage breast cancer. Which claimed both of her breasts and, to me, her lively personality that once flourished. We moved into my step father's house in Kimberly, WI about 11 years ago. Some DIY projects have been done in the house, but you can tell they weren't done professionally. My mom wants to put the house on the market because she just can't stand living here with all this old stuff. But because the house had had so much improper projects done wrong, its worth has plummeted. Since her breast cancer situation and me going off to college, my mom has had no money to spare on the house. I really want to do this for her, I just want to see her smile and be happy living here for a while, I miss my mom! I think that this will help because she has always dreamed of living in a nice house (Who doesn't) and from the major set back in the past year, this would help her out so much, and as her daughter, who can't afford to even pay for her own food, I want this to be done!

  26. My name is Dianna, I am 16 years old… Yes, I'm pretty young and I don't even know if I'm old enough to be on here but right now it seems like this is my last option. I am #2 out of 4 of us. I have a 18 year old brother, 13 year old sister, 4 year old brother & we live with out single mother. Over the past 2-3 years my mom has done everything possible just to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. I know someone out there has it worse than me, but I've never wanted something so bad… All I want is a house for my mom and family. Nothing more, nothing less. We are currently being evicted from a home that we rent because my mom can't afford the rent. It hurts me to see my mom cry. My mom is the strongest woman I know, she always helps everyone whether she was struggling on her own or not. The house we live in now is literally falling apart; outside of the house I live in there is a sewer that had been broken for about 15 years(neighbors told us) but the home owner hasn't fixed it. The bathroom isn't in the best condition, but for now I can't complain. June 16, 2014 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis(an inflammation in my stomach & more…) I was in the hospital for about 1 week, with my blood count at a 5. I needed 2 blood transfusions. I don't want pitty but 2014 was just really tough & I want this year to be better.

  27. My name is Crystal. I have two very small boys, a two year old and an almost 9 month old. My husband works extremely hard at his uncles construction company and has tried very hard to fix the home that we live in. However, we don't have the money that is needed to make the house what we need. He lived in the house for a few years before we met and got married. It's a three bedroom home. The problem with the house is that two weeks ago my baby was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. As he gets older he won't have the room to play and move around. Although its a three bedroom home, the rooms are extremely small and its one story with only a livingroom, bathroom, and kitchen as the living area. There is a sunroom on the back of the house, but it isnt usable for the boys because it leaks and it has concrete flooring. I work part time as a cashier. I am asking for help with our home because my husband does everything for our family and this would take a huge burden off of him.

  28. I'm located in Hernando, Mississippi. I come from a family with 8 kids! My parents do so much for us. My dad is a teacher and my mom is a nurse. My parents were working on fixing up our house when my 24 year old sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. She lives 15 hours away with her husband in the military. Now all of their extra time and resources are spent traveling to see her and helping support her. I'm writing to ask for help finishing the projects that they've had to put on hold. I know it would be a huge surprise for my parents to have this done. I've even planned ahead for you 😉 We can send my parents to take care of my sister for the week. And while they're gone we can finish the work on the house! There are small repairs that need to be done and a few larger ones. There's a room upstairs that has no flooring due to the pause in renovations and the outside of the house needs some new siding in places. With all that my parents do for our family, I think it's the least I could do to help them out. I would love to get the chance to talk to you and tell you more about my family.

  29. Dear Extreme Makeeover, I just saw this story on Facebook today and thought that this deserving police officer and his family would be perfect for this show. I won't fill out an application because I don't have the privilege of knowing him personally. However, it sounds like he could really use your help. Thank you for considering him.

  31. Hi,

I am looking for guidance and direction in finding some assistance for my sister and her family. She is a single mother who is disabled due to Lupus and Degenerative Joint disease. She and her family currently live in the mobile home that she shared with our parents whom she cared for until their death in 2013. The mobile home is in horrible conditions. Some of the rooms are inhabitable and dangerous due to water damage due to the roof being unstable. The heating is malfunctioning forcing her to use space heaters for her family to stay warm. There are also some plumbing problems. She gets small disability check and has been working a few hours each day as a home health aid but her Lupus Dr. has asked her to stop work due to her Lupus and the Joint disease. Because of the electrical and plumbing problems in the mobile home; her small disability is sometimes depleted to pay them. My sisters name is Elaine Nickens and she lives in Blackville SC.

If any of you can help me help my sister and her kids have the opportunity to live in safe conditions in their home.

    I would be so grateful.

Thanks in advance for your consideration and help.

    Thanks

    Brenda Blanding

  32. My family needs help. That's really the bottom line. We have just recently been taken out of a n abusive situation by a woman that's only ever met us twice before. She was buying quil off of our mother who had us kept in tents out in the woods. When she rescued us she didn't even know all our names. There are 7 of us. We were sleeping with dogs through ice storms to keep warm and was swimming in a stagnant pond in the summer to try and keep cool. We range from age 7 to 17. This woman, Sandra faught Dhs, local cops, our mother, and anyone else who's tried to split us up. She took us in, hired a lawyer, and most of all gave us a home with her and her two step sons whom she has also rescued from abusive situations. We are looking for a better house and can't find one big enough and of course bills are always an issue. I have made a face book page called A Child's Veiw to try and get our story out there but people dont want to believe that something like that has been happening under their noses for so long. If there is anything you can do to help please please contact us.

  33. I'm writing Extreme Makeovers: Home Edition from Tuscaloosa, AL. Roll Tide! I am a stay-at-home mom of 4- 3 are my biological children, one is my stepdaughter. They range in ages from 10 months to 8 years. My husband and I met when our girls were 1 and 2, then went on to have 2 boys together. We live in the house my husband purchased at age 19, looking to flip it and move on within a year or two. Well, 11 years later… Here we are! This house was originally a 2bed/1bath, and a room was added about 10 years ago. Our girls share a bedroom and our boys share another. My husband and I share the added on room- and we don't even have a door! That's not all- this house is FALLING APART. There are leaks all over the roof. The electricity on one side of our kitchen doesn't work and we have to alternate between our dishwasher and oven on an extension cord. The windows are very old and provide little insulation from the elements, a lot of panes are broken or cracked. There are huge gaps around our exterior doors and there are constant drafts. We have gas heat in our house but can't use it because when we had our unit inspected a few months ago they found holes all in the lines and told us that the unit would have to be replaced since it was so old and they couldn't replace the parts. We couldn't afford the $4,000 to replace the unit, so we are using space heaters. On really cold days, the temperature in our living room only reaches 45*. We have a fireplace which we would LOVE to be able to use to keep us warm, but it needs work and we can't afford it. On top of that, our only bathroom has mostly original fixtures and they constantly leak. We also have an old iron tub that is slowly sinking lower and lower. We have 3 large rescue dogs and two rescued cats in this barely 1,000 square foot house, also. The cats have the run of the house at night but the dogs are crated at night only. Their huge crate is stuffed in the corner of our already tiny dining room. I would love to have a place for them that isn't right in the middle of our main living space. I also wish we had a fenced in yard for our dogs and children to play safely. We live on a large corner lot, one of the largest in our neighborhood, but with it being on the corner and right by the street, we can't let our dogs out to run and worry about our children playing outside because of traffic. A lot of our appliances are on their last legs and barely function, but we can't do a thing about it, or any if the other issues I've mentioned (and others I haven't) because of our financial situation. My husband works a decent job that he loves, but it barely pays our bills. I want to work but since I was a young mother and wasn't able to get any kind of college degree, I'm limited as to what sort of job I qualify for. I have two children that would need day care, and there is no way I would be able to make a dent in anything if I worked just to pay for day care. So for now I'm stuck at home. I have a dream to start a business as a home bakery. I have always made cakes for people for a little extra money, but there's no way I will be able to get a business license to actually make a business out of it because I'll never pass the inspections necessary due to the condition of my house and kitchen. There is a lot more to my story, and I'd love to have the opportunity to be able to share the rest. You guys have no idea what it would mean to my family and me if we were chosen for a home makeover. Thanks for the opportunity and be blessed!

  35. My name is Jenifer. I am a 36 year old mother of 4 with one on the way. I am also disabled. My husband works so hard at his job every day. He then comes home to help me with house hold things. He also spends late nights and weekends renovating our house. We have owned our house for 10 years. We have been working on this house the entire time we have lived here. I see the worry and stress on my husbands face. He worries about our well being. We have a 2 year old. This house isnt safe for him because of all the construction equipment around. It isnt safe for me because of all the dust and equipment. I trip easily. I had 2 car accidents in 2 years. My back was damaged as well as my knees. I go to physical therapy and such. I also take in family and friends when they are in need of a place to stay and food in their bellies. I am in desperate need of your help. Thank you for taking the time to read this

  36. Hello. My name is Alisha. I have 3 children and my husband. We bought our first house 3 years ago. Since buying our house we have encountered several set backs. We bought it as a foreclosed house thinking we would fix it up and make it better. 6 months after we moved in I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I have a hard time getting around and doing things I used to. Then a year and a half ago my husband was in a bad motorcycle accident and since then has barely worked. A few months back our house flooded and ruined our upstairs bathroom all the carpet in the house and the finished basement. Between always being broke and taking care of our 3 kids we just don't have the means to get this house to what it needs to be. We would love to be featured on this show and be able to give our children a nice home. We started our family at a very young age and have done all that we have on our own. It took us a very long time to even be able to buy our own home. Thank you for your consideration.

If you are able to help us out and make this a better home for my family and I for years to come, it would be great honor. I just want my dad to live on in this house as he was a great big part of my life. Thank you for your time in reading this.

  42. PLEASE HELP

My name is Jaleesa, and my grandmother deserves a blessing. She lives in Missouri city, TX with disabled uncle. It's a decent sized home, but over the years due to bad weather and poor maintenance, and years of our family moving in and out of her home, its falling apart. The bricks above her fireplace, has cracked with an opening from a bad storm, which cause the chimney to fall from the house; insurance wont pay for it, its so cold in the winters. Her heater doesn't work, she has electrical issues, she has mold in her restroom above the toilet and in the tiles of her bathtub. My uncle, her son, is handicapped in a wheel chair and has medical problems. Both of their rooms have so many clothes and old mail and dust and things accumulated over the years. The hot water heater does not work well at all. Taking a shower lasts less than 6 mins due to the water not staying hot long enough. Imagine what my grandmother has to go through taking a bath in That bathroom in the cold winters. The estimates to pay to get the repsis in her house are through the roof. She stopped working a few tears ago due to cataract surgery and ger hands shaking. Her garage I'd filled with things I can't even begin tell you who they are for. My grandma is in her late 70's, and getting older. She simply loves watching sports, the news and seeing her family happy. She's worked her whole life to take care of her family and has never had a vacation, gone shopping for herself, or enjoy her later years, she's been spending alot of time in her home due to her age and health issues. She has had thyroid surgery, drastically lost weight after it, and its been a rough few years. She enjoys seeing her grand kids and watch us grow, but we need help helping our grandmother house is really bad shape and needs so much work done. I want my grannies late years to be easy going for her. For once in her life she can live in a home she's proud of. A home she can be happy, proud and feel safe in. Please, please help us help her. Her name is Josephine Milburn, she my grandmother and one of my best friends. She deserves greater than her life given her. Please help.

  47. Dear Extreme Home Makeover:
My name is Michaela Rieger and I wanted to nominate my husband for this opportunity to live our golden years in a home that is a safer and healthier environment. We experienced a tragedy 4 years ago. On 10/31/10 our 29 year old son and 11 yer old grandson were killed in a fatal car accident. Soon after the accident my husband of 40 years was diagnosed with advanced stage prostate cancer. Since his diagnosis Richard has had 4 surgeries to remove the cancer and repair the damage to his organs from the radiation treatments. Then on 1/11/14 he was dismissed from his job as an assistant manager for a large retailer (after 10 years of dedicated service) due to his lack of performance. It seems as though one bad thing after the other has come upon our family. My husband has always been the rock for our family and he continues to be. We turn to him for many things that most men in his condition would not venture to do. Our home was being upgraded when our son passed away suddenly. My son Ben was a builder. He was in the process of helping his dad when his life came to and end. This is when the construction came to an end as well. Our home is over 100 years old. The wiring in our home is unsafe. We do not have working heaters in every room. Ceilings are falling apart in several rooms from a leaking roof. I am not one to complain, but it is so very depressing to see a man who was so healthy only a few years ago have to go through so much physically and emotionally. Please give our family consideration for an extreme home make over. I am so grateful for everything good in our lives. Thank you for your consideration. Michaela A. Rieger

I beg for your help, I need a safe place for my kids and husband.

  51. Hello I am writting extreme home makeovers for my dad whom I love with all my heart and soul. He has a home in Cavecreek,Az. and just recently paid it off, yep my Father paid off his mortgage and can not even live in it. See about three years ago my dad was working and came home to the main pipe in the house had broken water was coming out the rafters by the time he got the water turned off it was a loss. it would mean a great deal to him to be able to live there again you see he s a veteran and has had both knees replaced in the last 2 years. be that as it may, I had almost lost him this pass October, God has plans for him and even though he never complains my dad will be going home to a room that we have declared for him with a air condition portable and he can not even shower because we can not afford the materials to get it done. My dad deserves so much and I would love to give a place to rest his head and to enjoy his home and the life that he wants and should have.

    Sincerely

  54. My name is Brian Conwell. I am a SGT in the army. Even though I was not hurt down range life is still hard. I was in a bad car wreck on Ft. Riley KS. I was the only one involved. I hit some black ice and ran of in to a ravine. I have lost my left leg and most of the use of my right. Now the army days it's time to go. I never thought it would be time to go this soon. I have been in for 9 years. I have a wife and 6 kids. It has been really hard finding help with a house that my family and I need. This is not something that we was ready for. I thought I had more time in the army. All my leads have come to dead ends. I am asking for help from some of the most wonderful people in the world.I have been trying to help people all my life. It is one of the biggest reasons I joined the army. Please I hope you will help us. God bless.

  55. My husband and I, met this wonderful women and her family. She first intended to reach out for us to help ride her horses due too going to school full time and being a single mother of five kids, keeping the horses from going lame. When we went over there for the first time, it was more than just working her horses, we could see the distress in her eyes. And yet bravely she tells us her story.

As it goes, her family and herself were introduced as a military family like us. Her husband being a petty officer of the navy endured the heart breaking separation from his family, being deployed in Afghanistan. During his lengthy deployment he was stricken with medical problems that in turn sends him home to his family. Shortly after his arrival he was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately it was a late diagnoses. About 4 months after his diagnoses, he passed away. Leaving his 5 kids and his wife to fend for themselves.

About the wife. She is now a widowed mother trying to raise not only her kids from a previous marriage, but also her husbands kids, also from his is previous marriage. She is attending nursing school full time so someday her kids and her may have a good life. Leaving no time for her personal activities, such as, horse back riding, etc…

Now why contact the extreme home makeover?
As my husband so gladly extended his helping hand to her, he had asked her if she wanted to take a trail ride with her friends and I, while he watched the kids. This was happily revived, and so we went for a ride while he babysat. While babysitting, my husband was able to look around the house. Her house is a manufactured home that seams to be falling apart and is small enough only to fit a single family. The Ceiling is falling apart, the floors creek, and her yard/lot is miss-kept due to her lack of time. She has horses, goats and other animals she also has to up keep. This is a family event, her kids try their best to help her with these chores, but she only has one older child (11 years old) that can attend to these bigger tasks. She also has a 7 year old that she believes has higher functional autism. As you can see she has her hands full. Once her husband passed away it seams the up keep of the house has dwindled. So I extend my plead for you to help her family and her. You all have done miracles and have help save so many. Please see it in your heart to save this grieving military family from the misfortunes they have faced.

    -Sincerely,
    From a worried friend,
    Kyrsten Tabada and family

  56. Hi, my name is Brandi, I am nominating my family, as I am married to a marine veteran who was in operation Iraq freedom and we have a one year old baby girl, we have a double wide that we have had more trouble than anything between pipes freezing, and busting, and no heat besides a heater that plugs in, we are also trying to take care of my mothers house also as she is on disability but her house is in the same property as her house is falling apart also,,. And has custody of my niece who is a freshman in highschool with awesome grades, everytime we think we get somewhere, something else happens, my veteran husband has Health issues that the Veterans association hasn't heled or taken care of, we never had a real wedding nor went on a honeymoon. Our double wide has poor insulation as on nights where it gets below freezing or in single digits, we all sleep in the same room. My husband works 6 days a week trying to make ends meet and to make sure we are takin care of at home, and I would do anything to make that happen for him so he wouldn't worry so much. Thank you for reading and hope that our story will get noticed.

  57. My name is Shantavia, I am 14 years old. I come here everyday and read other people's story's. I learned that I'm not the only one whose family is struggling. Here's my story. I have a mother named Mamie Bonner who was diagnosed with MS ( Multiple Sclerosis) in 2004. She has two daughters me and my 12 year old sister Shamara. We were living in the Brazol's village Apts but my moms MS had flared up which had disabled her to were she couldn't walk. We unfornally had to move with my aunt across town. My aunt lives in an apartment with a two bedroom, but she has a 14 year old son. I know this is the place where people come to get help so that y'all can help there family fix there house but I'm here for something different. We had to move schools and me and my sister loved our old school. My mother has no husband to help her out & we have no where to live. Yes I know we live with out aunt, but my aunt complains about taking us places whenever we need to do stuff. My mom wants to move back to where we first stayed because our family complains about doing stuff for us and she doesn't like that. so she would rather get away from all of it. We have been praying for a house that we have been wanting for the longest. I was praying and suddenly I heard a voice and it told me to come here and share my story and that we would get help. My mom can't work so she tries her best to get me and my sister some clothing and shoes to wear and by the end of the month we nearly have any money to get food. I pray that we get nominated for this. We currently live in Hewitt, TX. Thank you.

  58. My family and myself are huge fans of the work you have done for people all over the US and all over the world. You and your crew are an incredible example of the happiness that you can bring by doing some of the little things. This is actually why I'm sending you this email. Im hoping it reaches you personally, with hope that you can help my family.
My parents and i are from Littleton NH, and My parents mean the world to me and times have never been harder. My dad is a former Marine Corp. Scout Sniper who has served his country and train high caliber Marines. My dad is my inspiration to me on how to be a man, how to take care of your family. My dad is the reason i joined the military. I am a SPC in the US Army, and i am stationed over seas in Grafenwoehr Germany. I didn't have the chance to fallow directly in his footsteps in my career, but my goal is to serve my country and help bring men and women home to their families, and keep soldiers alive down range. Above all i just want to make him and my mother proud. Since my dad has gotten out of the military my dad has done all he can do to take care of all of us. At the same time my dad has struggled with a lot of medical problems. My dad was let go from a pest control job because the doctor had found traces of pesticides in his system. After that it took him along time to find a job. He took a Job as a Garbage man, Not too long into his time with the local company, his truck had caught fire in the back. He jumped into the back as fast as he could to put the fire out. In the process of putting the fire out, he fell out of the back breaking both of his knees, and breaking some of of his teeth. This left them with more medical expenses than they had before. My dad struggles to get any help from the VA and the Garbage company's insurance doesnt want to help him. He struggles to get anything from workman's comp.
My mom works the one job they have at this time to put food on the table. My mom is the most generous person on the face of this earth, she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Both my parents would. My mom and dad have always put their kids first and taken care of themselves last. My parents even took in a friend of mine in high school named Max Shepard. He was having trouble living at home with a lot of drinking, and anger. My parents more than willingly opened their home to him until he was ready to set out on his own a couple years later. A year or so later Max found himself not being able to afford living on his own and my parents, regardless of the tough times took him in again. No matter how tight times have been they have been willing to help people in need. When i was very young my mom found out that one of her coworkers at the time was not going to be able to provide her kids with a christmas. Without hesitation my mom and dad made sure that those kids had something underneath that tree to open up on christmas day. My parents also have a soft spot for saving animals. In the house they have 5 dogs and 8 cats. Just about every one of the cats were rescues, either they had been left behind or my mother had caught them outside, worked with them herself, and gave them a loving home. My parents had kept these animals because no matter what shelter they went to no one had room for these cats, and neither of them could stand the idea of these animals out in the cold fighting for their lives in a new england winter.
When I graduated highschool I wanted nothing more than to play soccer in college. When i got accepted to franklin pierce university i didn't think twice and neither did my parents. Once the first couple years passed we started having trouble with getting loans. We had reached a limit where we had so much debt that we no longer qualified. My dad went into his 401k and took the money out so i could still go to school. The penalties that my dad had to pay were tremendous, and put more strain on My mother, my sister, and him back home. He told me not to question it and just keep going, don't quit. Any time i struggled, and had a hard time keeping my head up. My mom and dad would look at me and say keep your head up and keep moving forward. No matter what keep moving forward, thats how you succeed, and thats what makes a winner. While i was in my junior year My grandfather Michael Knights passed away. I could not keep my head up to save my life, and it was extremely hard on all of us. I had went to the hospital to see him a few days before. He wasn't conscious, but looking at him hooked up to all those machines, i just could stand to see him like that. I had had a long relationship with him. He was one of the men that raised me to work hard, do the right thing, and to take care of my family. On the day he died i couldn't be there, i couldn't stand to see him like that, and i couldn't bring myself to face his death. Never the less my mom and dad would tell us not to give up, that its not in us to give up, Thats not what the knights-pelletier's are about, "thats not what Pops would want" shed say.
I got to Germany in January of 2013, and reported to my first duty station in the army. Being away from home, from my mom and dad, my girlfriend (who is now my wife), and all my friends was one of the hardest things that i had to do. In September on my way to a class i stopped in at the Warrior Zone to use the computer. I got on Facebook to tell my wife that i was going to be in class late so wed have to reschedule our usual Skype date. Once i got on i had messages that got me to worrying. After telling her that i didn't know what was going on, she told me that my sister had passed away. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to start. If it wasn't for my friend Brenton Wood (who i had went to basic training and AIT with) i probable would have been in trouble. He literally checked in on me every hour on the hour. I couldn't focus, everyday all i could think about was my sister and what was going on with my mom and dad without me there. I didn't sleep for days. My sister was more of a soldier than i was, and i always told myself that if she can keep driving on and pushing forward than so can i. My sister suffered for of a lot of the years leading to her death. Suffered from physical and mental abuse, not from my parents, but from people around her. Kids in school used to pick on her to the point where she would cut herself and wonder if she even wanted to keep going. She had been physically abused by a guy that decided that beating her would get her to do what he wanted. He ripped her sleeve off her shirt, wrapped it around her neck trying to choke her to death, slapping her face off the pavement as well.
It has been a just over a year since they lost my sister and times aren't getting easier. They have 6 weeks to find a new home and have found nothing in the past 4 weeks. They are being forced out so the owners of the trailer can live there. They are already talking about having to live in the cars one of which they are watching for me and my wife. Ive never heard my parents say anything about giving up, but its gotten to the point where mom has said she's tired of fighting. That she's just too tired to keep on pushing forward. I know its a long shot but i don't know what to do. Im thousands of miles away and can't just pick up and go. I need some help trying to help my parents. I don't know if you and the Extreme makeover home edition crew still do the amazing things that you guys have always done but i needed to try. Unless i can get them help somehow they'll be homeless before the New England winter is out. My parents wouldn't think of asking for help, but they have helped people for as long as i can remember i think its about time they receive some help. Can you help me?

  59. I am posting for my grandparents. My grandmother is a lymphoma cancer survivor. She is also a Girl Scout leader and has been since I can remember. Her house is unsafe. We have young kids in the home and I fear everyday that they will get hurt. The back door doesn't even lock and the front door can be easily broken into. My grandfather is retired navy and has been in this struggle for many years. My grandmother has a hard time letting go of items, so over the years things have collected and piled up to the point we can't even go into a room fully.
we need help and need it soon. We live in virginia beach, virginia

So I didn't have anywhere to go besides to my husband's grandmas house it wasn't two weeks later I woke up and found my son dead due to a duffel bag that had my daughters clothes in it.I don't really want to type it.so if you want I can talk to someone about it. I don't question God.but I do wish I had my son with me.I miss him so much it's been a down hill battle since we lost him.everything is so hard.My daughter asks about him every day she draws pictures for him.she just now is in her own room with her own things my mom decorated it for her.My mom has struggled her whole life to trying to make ends meat to take care of her 7 children.I look up to her so much,in my eyes she's the strongest woman I've ever met.she has helped me since we lost landed.right after we lost him my other sister any came for the funeral.she lives in txt.her husband works on a right an! 66. Hello EMHE. My name is Tara McPeters. I am requesting your help for my mother. She is a single mom of two grown kids and has four grandsons. She helps take care of us all. My parents bought this house in 1997 and was completely lied to by the realtor, who was extremely hateful to my parents. Over those many years my parents started noticing more and more things wrong with the house. My father found out it had four builders on it while being developed. In 1998, my dad decided to build an addition to the house. After a few years, it finally got completed. By the end of my high school years, me and my brother started noticing a deterioration in our parents marriage. My dad left about ten years ago and my parents have since been divorced for 8 of those years. From that point on my mother was left with all the problems that this house endures. She lost her job after roughly 20 years with the same company when the economic status of the country started to fall. She entered into a new job at a lower pay, having to start down at the bottom again. My older brother and my family of six have since moved back in with my mom because of the economic hardships. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2007. I have since then lost my job because of my disease. My mother has done nothing but make sure her kids and grandsons have what they need. My mom lives paycheck to paycheck like most average Americans. The house needs major repairs, she needs a new car, and a break from stress. The house is drafty, the back doors needs replacing, there is water damage to both of them. One of the back doors can't even lock any longer because of the water damage, the door has shifted. It is hard to open as well. The skylights need replacing. The driveway is chipping away. The plumbing has to be completely redone, everything was made to go straight to an in house sump-pump. If our power goes out, we can not shower, flush toilets, or run any water as the basement will flood since the "used" water has nowhere to go. The living room floor has to be replaced because of the backdoor. And my mom wants to redo the stairwell for the steps to not be as steep because of my medical issues with my MS. She has tried to get help on her own and her own mother will not help her. If I had the money to get this done, I would sure give it to her. I am currently waiting for my hearing date for my disability benefits. I am asking for your help to give her a break from stress and a piece of mind that her house will not fall apart on her. I appreciate your consideration of my mother in your next heartwarming project.

  67. I would like to nominate our family for Extreme Home Makeover. Our story is not sad so perhaps others maybe more deserving of your help…however, I thought I would give it a try! We recently relocated from the northeast to the southwest. We love our house but it is a diamond in the rough. It has vast potential but it was a foreclosure so the previous people took everything from cabinetry to light fixtures to doors. If it could be removed, it was taken. We are plodding along on it slowly but I work full time and my husband stays home fulltime to take care of our 6 children and homeschool them. We love our choice to exist on one income but it limits our ability to do house projects. We are really enjoying the southwest and would like it even more if we could get our house fixed quickly, rather than over decades. Thank you for considering us for your show.

  68. Hello My Name is Almeda McGrew-Baker,
Well When I was five I was adopted by this wonderful lady along with my two older brothers. we were adopted because of some really bad circumstances (abuse etc..) well the lady that adopted us was my brother second grade teacher. She already had three girls of her own and was married. well couple years after adopting us she got divorced and was left with six children to care for. For a single parent she did and awesome job. I am not saying feel sorry for us because you can come from a bad past but you also can make something out of it. But anyways my Mother that adopted us has two diseases. Crohn disease which is inflammatory bowel disease that affects the intestines and Osacaslatis Disease which deals with the knee. My mom has a hard time walking because of it. she also has diabetes. A couple of months ago she was put in the hospital because she wasn't able to breathe and we thought we almost lost her. she was put in ICU and they had a machine breathing for her. then they kept her in there for two weeks. but almost every year she is hospilaitzed because of this. the house we live is not suitable for her and we cant just afford to get up move. please I beg of you I just want my mom to be happy and atleast in a good house. please

  69. Hello.. my name is Maria but honestly this does not concern me.This about a cousin of mine, his name is Michael Trevino he is only 14 years old. On the morning of Saturday,December 28, 2014, we where informed that a horrible accident had occurred. His family was on trip to San Luis Potosi, Michael was playing on the second floor of his aunts house, when he felt something at his head.He had grabed a cable with 13,000 volts. As a consequence of that accident he had to get his whole right arm, his left foot and the back part of his right foot had to be amputated. As of right now he has gone trough several operations in order to try to repair the skin in his stomach and his back ( which was severely burned). We feel very great full that thanks to God and the doctors we have him with us now.The whole family has been trying to gather money for his medical expenses trough donations and an event. Altough, we have gathered enough money for the hospitals, we were hoping to repair their home as well. His home has inadicuate living conditions for what has happened to him. His home is infested with roaches, has no a/c, no hot water, and worst of all the floor is nearly roten. In their restroom there is nearly any space to walk and there is a large hole near the bathtub and their sink doesn't have running water. The hallways have only enough space to walk trough. We feel concerned that when he finally is released from the hospital he will face the diffilculty of having to depend on others. For him it will be harsh seeing that he will not be able to leave his room without the assistance of his parents, he is only a teenager passing trough this difficult time. We want him to recover and be able to go back to being the fun, cool and sweet kid he has always been. Before his accident he loved to be outside playing sports or going walking trough the neighborhood. I only want to see his face when he arrives from the hospital and see how much his family and friends love him. I know that what I am asking for is a lot, but I am only hoping for a miracle. It is difficult to see him at the hospital and listen to him say that he just wants to go home, back to school with friends and back to a normal life. I know our family, friends, and especially Michael would be great full for your network and shows effort in assisting in helping. It would be amazing if you at least give him a consideration. He deserves better than what happened to him and i intend to make his life better a little bit at a time.

My aunt who is wheel chair bound and has to go to dialysis three times a week for the remainder of her life. My mother also moved in two months ago because of a really bad infection on her foot the dr wants to amputate so my mom will be there for the long run. All three of them have diabetes and have a hard time with it. So I plan on moving in also along with my wife and two boys.
I work security and the mrs as an elderly care taker and we both have two other part time jobs. My grandmother works has her own upholstery business. My mom had her own business but it looks like she's going to have to close up shop now.my aunt hasn't ever worked she along with my mom have mental disabilities. Long story short I plan on moving in and along with my wife's help take the load off of my granny.
She has a four bedroom and just paid off her house a few years ago. so we have been talking about it as a family and decided the house needs a major upgrade the way the house was built theres not much room to make the tiny rooms any bigger or add another room with out gutting the house or adding a second floor. She has a very large yard to work with and there's many possibilities back there. My grandmother really needs help as soon as possible I think she really deserves a break and to live what years she has left with out so much stress. Her husband passed away in Vietnam and has been alone ever since.my aunt was in hospital icu due to diabetes a few years ago and her husband left her at the worst time possible..they both have had it ruff and deserve more I will be there to help but with my income it might be too little to late.thank you for your time and consideration

  72. CANCER SUCKS, especially if you are a 3 year old cutie and have been fighting 4th stage Nueroblastoma for the past year.

CANCER SUCKS, especially when the family is battling with their baby boy and then Dad is diagnosed with Leukemia.

This is a family of 7 children and the Mom and Dad I am writing and BEGGING you to help. Mom and Dad have the 1 year old and 3 year old sleeping in their bedroom. The house is falling down around them and mold is starting to take over.

3 year old Mason and Dad need a safe place to fight their diseases. Mason has a 50/50 chance of making it and maybe if his environment was better, it could be higher.
Mom was a special ed teacher but now must stay at home and get son and Dad to their treatments. Not to mention the other 7 children to school and back.

This family truly needs to see some good things happen ion their lives. Just a little of 3 years ago, they lost a daughter to SIDS. I could just keep going but I'm afraid you won't believe me because how much bad can happen to such a great family?

Please kindly consider the Kelly's and know what a huge impact you can make on their lives!
