Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking female actors/vocalists to portray Elena of Avalor, the first Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures, in a new offering to be performed at The Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL. Auditions are being held in New York City on June 7th at 10:00 am for Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Casting directors are looking for an actress/ vocalist to portray Elena. Elena of Avalor is a bold, caring, funny and clever 16-year-old who is ascendant to the throne in the fairytale kingdom of Avalor.  She is bilingual and is a mezzo-soprano vocalist. Elena plays the guitar, so an actor/vocalist that has a guitar background is a plus, but not required. Must portray 16 years of age, slender, 5’2-5’6. Type Cast. Auditions will be held at Pearl Studios at 519 8th Avenue – 12th Floor New York, NY 10018. Sign-in will take place from 9:30am – 10:00am. Auditions will begin at 10:00 am. Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

Actresses should provide a current headshot and resume. Those who audition should prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide sheet music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded tracks or a cappella auditions are not allowed. If proficient in Guitar, please bring your own instrument to demonstrate skill. Those who are Spanish speaking a plus. If proficient in Spanish be prepared to read a Spanish audition side. Callbacks will be held the same day. Advanced registration is not required.

This is a short term special event that will require you to relocate to Orlando, Florida for approximately 2 to 3 months. Potential housing packages for this time frame may be available to qualified performers that are hired into specific roles. Actors employed with the Walt Disney World Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.
