Casting directors are looking for boys and girls ages 6 to 10 years old to audition for the role of a “Native American Child” in the upcoming film “Hostiles”. The movie is set to star Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike. Variety reports that the upcoming film “Hostiles” “tells the story of a legendary Army captain, who agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to tribal lands. Making the harrowing and perilous journey from an isolated Army outpost in New Mexico to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow whose family was murdered on the plains. Together, they must join forces to overcome the punishing landscape and hostile Comanche tribes that they encounter along the way”.

The casting team is looking for kids that are adventurous and outgoing for the role in the movie. Kids do not have to have any previous acting experience to be considered. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th from 10am – 5pm at the Warehouse 21 – Media Lab at 1614 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501. The casting directors will give brief interviews to the kids and the auditions will be filmed during the open call audition. If your child fits the role but can’t attend the audition then parents are welcome to email auditions@rhcasting.com with a current photo, the child’s name, age, any acting experience and the parent contact information. It is important that you put ‘hostiles’ in the subject line of the email. Submissions are due by May 15th so get them in asap!
