ABC Family has picked up a pilot order for ‘Bunheads’, a one hour scripted drama set in the world of ballet/dance and they are looking for fresh faced young dance enthusiasts to fill out the cast of this sure-to-be hit.
Written as an homage to her childhood with her dancer mother and her own attempts at ballet, ‘Bunheads’ follows the story of a once-promising dancer who has fallen from Broadway to Vegas. After a shotgun marriage she moves to the east coast and starts teaching at her mother-in-law’s dance school.
