Since I’ve been little I’ve been saying to my mom, “I Wanna walk the red carpet”, and she said that If you try hard enough then your dreams will come true. My first inspiration to sing was when I was about 4 years old and I was singing in a grocery store, and this nice lady came up to me and said, “Was that you singing?” I answered Yes, and she said, “Magnificent, I own a choir and you can sing just like them. Keep on singing and you will be famous someday.” Now I hope she was right. I definately think I have the look to make it in the show business, because I am always changing my looks, I am never boring. But dont worry, I am never wierd. Hey! My name is Averie Brown. I am 12-years-old live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I’m the life of the party! I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Ever since i was able to talk I have been the so called “diva” in my family. It has always been my dream to be on D.C.!!!! When I was little I would always act out the “Hey! I’m _______ from _____ and your watching D.C.!” My mom and dad always think it’s amazing how I remember every line of my favorite TV shows. I have been in 3 musicals so far: I was Marcie in the musical “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”; I went to the OCU Summer Drama Camp and won the part of Mrs. Potts in “Beauty and the Beast”, singing the solo “Tale as Old as Time”. I have also been a Who in “Seussical the Musical”! I love acting because I love being on stage and becoming someone that i am the total opposite of! One of my all time favorite D.C. characters is Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. My dad even calls me “Sharpay” sometimes! I looooove to sing and dance. I was in the Oklahoma children’s all-state choir last year, and I was 1 out of 3 that made it in my grade. I auditioned for show choir at my school and made it! I’ve been taking voice lessons for 4 years. I love to sing and play the guitar. I love Taylor Swift. I even make up some of my own songs.
