The Amazon series “Red Oaks” is now filming in New York City and casting directors are looking to fill a featured role! This is a really great opportunity to be featured on a television show. The show is described by Amazon as being “Set in suburban New Jersey in 1985, Red Oaks centers around college student David Meyer–a young man at a crossroads as he tries to figure out who he is and what he wants to be in this world.

He gets a summer job as an assistant tennis pro at the Red Oaks Country Club and while there, David finds himself the recipient of unsolicited life advice from a colorful group of coworkers and club members”. Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking a SAG-AFTRA union male to be a featured attractive guy at a bar.

They are looking for men ages 20 to 28 years old. The role will be filming tentatively on Tuesday, July 19th. They are only looking guys who are local to New York and the tri state area.  This filming will be for the second season of Red Oaks.  The show is set in 1986 so anyone who applies must have period appropriate hair. Guys should have no visible tattoos. There will be a wardrobe fitting but the fitting date is to be determined. The casting call states you must not have previously been pre-fit/ worked on Red Oaks at all!
