There is a new casting call for the Amazon series “Patriot”. Casting directors are looking for someone who looks like Barack Obama for the show. The series follows intelligence officer John Tavner’s latest assignment, to prevent Iran from going nuclear, requires him to forgo all safety nets and assume a “non-official cover” as a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm. A bout with PTSD, the government’s incompetence, and the intricacies of keeping his day job cause a barrage of ever-escalating fiascos that jeopardize the mission.
The casting team is looking for an Obama Look-alike who is as close to 6’1 and 175lbs as possible for the role. This role will be filming on Thursday, August 4th. Patriot films in Oak Park, Illinois. This is for a non-union extra role.

The casting call states, if you submit for a specific date, you must be available for that entire day and without any prior commitments. Additionally, they are casting extras for Patriot, Empire, Exorcist and soon to be APB. If you are booked or on hold with any of these shows for the below dates, please let us know and we can figure out where you’re needed most. Send 2 RECENT, candid photos of yourself, preferably in a suit, (one full length and one from the shoulders up so we can clearly see your face). The better the photo quality, the better your chance of being chosen and name your jpeg with your full name. Confirm your mode of transportation to Oak Park if you’re chosen for a role that films in that location.
